Ishta Phala during Ketu and Rahu Dashas

Shri Kumar Arumugam,

Sage Parashara and others instructed how to calculate their strength

under Shadbala scheme for seven planets from Sun to Saturn. But they

clearly told how to analyze the roles of Rahu and Kethu in a chart

and their major and minor periods.

The strength of dispositors of Rahu and Kethu could very well be

calculated according to shadbala scheme. The planets influencing

Rahu and Kethu could very well be calculated as per the ibid scheme.

Regards, C.S. Ravindramani.

Dear Ravindramani,

Thank you for your input. I'm sure members appreciate all these valuable

bits of information...

I hope you won't mind too much if I add a little bit also :-)

As we know, the shadowy planets are not treated in the same way as the

physical planets (Sun through to Saturn). Due to their inability to act

independently, their disposition is determined (primarily) according to

association i.e, conjunction and/or lord of the house they occupy...the

disposition of nakshatra lord also should be assessed in the same way

(ibid).

Ibid (ibidem) BTW simply means 'same as or same way'...as we've seen in

Ravindramani's statement that the strength of the nodes should be determined

through their dispositors and also, in the same way (ibid), through the

planets they conjoin etc..

PS: Of course I'm only repeating what Ravindramani has already said and I

hope all will excuse me for butting in :-)

Best Wishes,

Mrs. Wendy
