Ayanamsa Question

Hello. I have a rather simplistic ayanamsa question which I could not

find a clear answer to in the past posts of this group.

 

If once wishes to use an ayanamsa that is not in the JHora list of

provided ayanamsas, does one simply enter the appropriate offset

value with respect to the Lahiri baseline ayanamsa, irrespective of

whatever the birth year may be? Thanks. I am referring in particular

to the so-called KP New ayanamsa.
