Guest guest
Hello. I wish to use Jagannatha Hora 7.02 to help me in my study of Krishnammurthi Padatthi (KP) astrology. The problem I have with this program is that I cannot make my example charts come out with the the correct values/results (e.g., degrees values). Would some person who has experience in using Jagannatha Hora for KP astrology kindly email me some tips on getting this program to work properly for basic KP analysis, or post these here? Thanks, GA
Guest guest
|| Om Gurave Namah || Dear GA, Your problem could be due to ayanamsha selection, Usually people who use KP use the KP Ayanamsha, To select the KP ayanamsha select from menu " Preferences;Related to Calculations;Ayanamsha " Select " Krishnamoorthy(KP) ayanamsha, To look at the lords, sub-lords select the " KP " sub tab from below after selecting " Basics " major tab at the top. Hope this helps you. Warm regards Sanjay P On 12/16/07, gandalfaragorn <gandalfaragorn wrote: Hello. Guest guest
Hello. I have a problem with using JHora that I wish to seek advice on. When it works, the program is highly accurate (I have compared the results with those of other software). However, when I make changes to birth data, the program does not always immediately give the correct, or final, output for these changes. Is this due to a bug, or am I missing something elementary here ( " refresh " button somewhere?). It has gotten to the point where I have to crosscheck the results (usually KP-type output) with those of another reliable program before I can trust the results. It sort of defeats the purpose of holding onto JHora. (I always check to make sure my house system and other optional features are correctly set up in the program). I am an experienced software user, but this has been a troubling feature of the program for me, and it also currently makes me distrust a little the results of others who use the program. Thanks for any advice, GA jhora , " gandalfaragorn " <gandalfaragorn wrote: > > Hello. I wish to use Jagannatha Hora 7.02 to help me in my study of > Krishnammurthi Padatthi (KP) astrology. Guest guest
Namaste, There is no "refresh" button. Anytime the birthdata is changed and you click "ok" in the birthdata change dialog after changing the birthdata, calculations are altered immediately. If you have a slow computer, it may be take a couple of minutes, but the calculations are updated automatically for the modified data. You do not have to press any refresh button. I have never seen any problems in this regard and you are the first one to mention a problem in this area. After changing the birthdata, make sure that you are pressing the "ok" button and not the "cancel" button or the esc key.
