Hi,

I am a new member to your group. I have had JH70 on one of my computers for about 1 1/2 years. I loaded it onto my second computer on the same desk last December. A couple of days ago I noticed this problem:

My Help Topics Window is unable to Rebuild under the Find Menu. I originally downloaded the jh70_full a year and a half ago onto one of my computers. It has no difficulty Rebuilding under the Find Menu in the Help Topics Window. I also ordered the CD-ROM. Last December I loaded JHora onto my second computer on the same desk. I just noticed today that I am unable to rebuild under the Find Menu in the Help Topics Menu. I have tried uninstalling, including deleting the Jyotisha Folder in Program Menus and then reinstalling. I have tried both the CD-ROM version and the download version (today's download). All of my other programs have no problem "rebuilding" under the Find Menu. During the uninstall a warning was given: These files are not currently used by other programs, but they are shared files. If you delete you may affect other programs. If not sure, do not delete. This will not affect your computer adversely. So I did not delete the files. Would it make any difference if I did?

Do you have any idea of what might be causing this problem or how to solve the problem? Is there something additional that I have to do after uninstalling to get a clean reinstall. During the uninstall there is a warning not to delete any of the font files, etc., as other programs may need them, so I do not delete any of them. As I said above the only thing extra I do is delete the Jyotisha Folder, which is replaced on the reinstall. The attachment shows what the Help Topics Window looks like after I attempt Rebuilding with either Minimum, Maximum, or Custom. As you can see it is absolutely devoid of any content.

Thanks for any help in this matter.

Best Wishes,

Ellis Gordon
