Guest guest
Dear Friends, I do not need a reading! All I am asking is an output from your astro software. Date :- 10th September, 1957 Time :- 08:41 AM (PST) Place :- Culver City, California, USA Gender :- Male Ayanamsha :- Lahiri. This is required for an astro-software comparison project. The more the number of outputs from different astro-softwares and their versions, the better. Your kind co-operation would go a long way in making the project successful. In case you decide to help, please include 1. The name of the software 2. The version number. 3. The output or a screen print where the Ascendant and Moon (sign, degree, minute and seconds if possible - whatever your software delivers) are clearly visible. Please email your response to jyotish_data Thanks and regards.
Guest guest
Dear Krishna, Thanks! Hope to get back soon with some very interesting observations that we are coming up with in the project. Guest guest
For this moment, (10th September 1957, 8:41 am, Culver City CA, USA) one hour DST is to be used. Hence the Universal Time will be 15 hours and 41 minutes and sidereal time will be 7:5:02. The rising Asc. could be Virgo 20 degrees and 25 minutes. Moon could be located at 10 degree 9 minutes in Pisces. Sun could be located in Leo 24 degrees and 21 minutes. True Rahu could fall in Libra 18 degrees and 28 minutes. Guest guest
Dear Swamy, You are correct. JHora is not very reliable for DST details. I checked other sources and I found DST is applicable for the given date and place. Guest guest
Thanks Swamy! Could you kindly let us know the name of the software and the version of it that you have used to generate these values? Guest guest
" jyotish_data " , At the outset, why dont you write your name when you post your message. I feel more comfortable when I know to whom I am conversing. I cast the chart for that moment manually. I use Chitrapaksha Ayanamsha. My name is Muthukumaraswamy. I have no version. LOL Swamy jyotish-vidya , <jyotish_data wrote: > > Thanks Swamy! > > Could you kindly let us know the name of the software and the > version of it that you have used to generate these values? > > Thanks again! > >
