Results of exalted planet based on its degree and awastha

Hi All, I have a query regarding the results of exalted planet based on its degree and awastha.According to classics,for even signs, 0-6 = Mrityu Awastha6-12 = Vridh Awastha12-18 = Yuva Awastha18-24 = KumarAwastha24-30 = Baal Awastha and vice versa for odd signs. Now let us take an example of Mars exalted in Makar upto 28 degree and moon exalted in Vrash upto 3 degree.In these degreees both are said to be in param uchha ansh and they give there best at these degrees. This seems to be contradicting to the above table ,28-3 is baal Awastha and mrityu awastha.How will it effect the prediction. With regards, Madhu
