I've always used the Campanus house system because -- and I hate to have to admit this -- that's what the guy who turned me on to astrology uses, as did many siderealists before him. Unfortunately, I don't like to do things " because that's how we've always done it, " but no one who uses other systems can give me a better reason for their choice. > Also when rectifying a chart, what events in a person's life do you feel are > the most important ones to consider? That's a toughie, but a book called _Working with Astrology_, which is about midpoints and harmonics, says possible midpoint locations can give excellent clues. And how much " rectifying " does a given person's chart need? I wouldn't even try unless I at least knew the birthday and birthplace. Guest guest
Hi! OK, I have my first question. I have been using the equal house system to this point. That is, if the lagna is in Leo, Leo is the first house, Virgo is the second house, etc. But I notice that in JH, the houses start from the middle of a sign, such as 15 degrees Leo to 15 degrees Virgo. First question: Is there a way to set the preferences to the equal house division method? Also, is the equal house division method inferior to the half in one sign, half in the other house system? Thank you, Sincerely, Kevin
