Ashtottari and Shodasottari Dasas (JH 7.02 udu dasa)

Dear Andre,

 

What JHora 7.02 gives is what tradition teaches. These two dasas are ruled by Rahu and Ketu.

 

If you notice carefully, there is a difference between the way antardasas are computed in the two dasas. In both, the antardasa of mahadasa lord comes at the end. But the exact order is different. In Ashtottari dasa, the order is basically the same, with mahadasa lord coming at the end. In Shodasottari dasa, the order is totally reversed. Study the order carefully.

 

Pt Sanjay Rath did not pay attention to this earlier. When he visited me last, he paid attention and corrected me based on the teachings of tradition. We went thru some examples also.

 

What JHora 7.02 does is what Pt Rath and I recommend.

 

But, I will consider giving options in a future release to accommodate different points of view.

JH 7.02 udu dasa

 

Namaste,I've found in the new version making some udu dasa (ashtottari and shodasottari) that the first antaradasa is not the planet of the mahadasa but the order of the antaradasas is inverted.In the others udu dasas the order of the antaradas start correctly from the maha dasa planet.Thanks
