Q: 174: Could Astrology reveal chronic diseases?

A: Yes. Planets do influence human affairs. Each planet holds sway over specific part of the body.

 

Saturn governs all dry regions in the body, like Teeth, hair, bones spleen, ear etc.

Mercury controls our nerves, nose, brain-nerves, and respiratory system.

Mars rules over forehead, sex-organs, muscular system, marrow and bile.

Jupiter influences liver, fat, blood-circulation, belly and lungs.

Moon moulds your mind mental structure, stomach, and uterus.

The Sun leads heart, brain, head, and lungs.

Venus takes care of chin, cheeks, kidneys, sperms, skin and the urinary tracts.

 

Also the twelve houses are destined with the effects in ‘kalapurush’ rules.

The first (Lagna) House is marked to head and brain; second house to face, eyes, mouth, and tongue; third house to chest, ears, shoulders, and arms,

the fourth to heart and lungs; the fifth to stomach; the fifth to naval; the seventh to urinals, and internal sex organs;

the eight house to external sex organs, and anus; the ninth to thighs; the tenth to knees; the eleventh to calves and the twelfth to feet.

 

Each sign of the zodiac also has a domain over specific part of the human body.

Aries for head and face; Taurus for neck, throat and larynx; Gemini for shoulders arms, and nervous system;

Cancer for heart and stomach; Leo for spine, back and heart; Virgo for bowels and fingers;

Libra for kidneys, lumbago-region and skin; Scorpio for urinary organs and lower bowels;

Sagittarius for hips, thighs, and buttocks; Capricorn for bones and knees;

Aquarius for ankles and blood circulation; and Pisces for feet.

 

Principle: Any house tenanted or in aspect by a natural malefic will cause ailment in that part of the body.

The natural malefic are: Sun; Waning Moon; Saturn; Mars; Rahu and Ketu.

For example, Jupiter governs blood- circulation, and Jupiter is afflicted by malefic (in aspect from Saturn or Mars, or housed with Rahu or Ketu) and positioned in Cancer (where he is exalted) Leo (the house for heart), and either house is eighth from the Lagna, that person will have high blood pleasure, while he may undergo a surgery, during the period of Jupiter main Desa in the Bukthi/Anthara of the Malefic planet to aspect Jupiter.

The reason for such emergency surgery could also be traced to the ‘Gochara’ (present day) movement of the influencing malefic planet.

 

Similar analysis will help finding these inferences with the combinations and permutations, with aforesaid malefic planets, houses, positions and the aspect between them.

Thanks for the mail. With due respect I submit my own observation in medical science. I beg to differ with you on at most of the points.

 

There is no air tight compartment in the body for the different organs. All organ work as a whole such as for the problem of respiratory track, nose, throat, bronchial and lungs are to be affected. not only lungs. So for a patient of asthma there should be affliction to lagna, 2nd, 3rd and 4th house. For digestive problem, 4th, 5th 5th and 8th house are to be afflicted more or less and sign leo, Virgo and Scorpio are to be afflicted.

The planet indicates disease and sign and house indicated the locality of the problem.

Desh, Kala and Patra and Yoga, dasha and bhukti, transit play its role for the health problems.

For any chronic health problem, all the three lagna should be afflicted.

There should be relation in Sun, Saturn, Jupiter and Rahu for the chronic health problems

So medical astrology needs deep investigation, study of the charts and development and joint efforts to pin point the houses, signs, nakshtra, and varga for the ailment. And again how to construct the varga? cyclic or as given in the classics. I have found more success in construction of Dreshkona and Trimshamsha in cyclic order to pin point the planet for the ailment. This is in nut shell, more can be given.

"Cronic Deceases'. while I set the base 'identities' to trace these in Astrology. I think the 'comments' were made in haste.

 

These articles are to 'induce' those interested in Astrology, to 'trace' the venues on various 'reasoning' made available to us even 2500 years before by our sages who authored "Astrology' in which we dwell under their given 'guidelines'. Or, these are relevant today or not is a different matter for under different platform to be debated. Further, there was no reason for one 'to differ' from what I had said, as I said it is possible to 'trace' in Astrology, while I did not state anywhere on how to trace them. The last Para in my listings will justify my 'article'
