Guest guest
Dear All, Yesterday due to problems mails were not appearing in the group for the whole day! Some mails even when approved, don't appear in the group; while replying online many times the contents are lost when it gets posted; at times the messages section don't appear at all - NUMEROUS are the problems due to bugs. But certainly it is also true that is the best forum+mailinglist platform available on the net - an unquestionable fact. These numerous problems made me think about an alternative for our group, instead of this too much dependence on . An opted alternative is the use and integration of the phorum software with an email addon to AIA website. This work is under progress. Once the same is implemented, if the users are satisfied with the features and facilities provided by phorum we will move the major part of our continuing communication to the platform. Just thought of intimating you all about these near future plans, since the work is under progress. I will also love to hear from you all about your experiences with web based forum+mailing list apps (such as , Google group etc) and the other implementations such as PHPBB, SMF, Phorum etc combined with a mailing list. Note: It is well evident that we all like something like the one provides, and that is one of the reasons for all of us being here. Love and regards,Sreenadh
