Guest guest
Dear Osho-ites, Some excerpts from the link, I posted //Rajneesh's health collapsed in his early thirties. Even before reaching middle age, Rajneesh suffered reoccurring bouts of weakness. During his youthful college years, when he should have been at a peak of vigor, Rajneesh often had to sleep 12 to 14 hours a day due to an unexplained illness. Rajneesh suffered from what Europeans call Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), or what Americans call Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). His classic symptoms included the obvious fatigue, strange allergies, recurrent low grade fevers, photophobia, orthostatic intolerance (the inability to stand for a normal period of time), insomnia, body pain, and extreme sensitivity to smells and chemicals, a condition doctors now refer to as " multiple chemical sensitivity. " // He was clearly a case of mental problems. A man is known by the company he keeps, by the book he reads. He was a great pimp. Jaisa Raja Vaisa praja. Nothing can change my views on OSHO. Think about the lives of many women and children he ruined. I am not surprised if people follow OSHO's footsteps by using astrology as a tool. If possible, I will contact the man who wrote about him in this link and ask him to paricipate in this discussion. bhagavathi
Guest guest
Dear Bhagwathi ji, Lets not take this biasedness too far. Liking a facet of Jesus does not make me a Christian just like likng a facet of Krishna does not make a Catholic a Hindu. Same way liking Osho for certain facets of his intelligent personality does not make one an Osho-ite. Focusing on his literary and vocal smartness is what we are doing, and not concerned with the size of his anatomy, or the clothes he wore, etc. I have got books on all subjects in my Library including medical- Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Naturopathy , which does not make me a Doctor. I have got books on sex too, which does not make me a depraved mind, because the books I have contain some secrets and are not the normal ones. I have got good books on spirituality too which does not make me a Yogi or a saint. At times you may see me sitting with a Professional Drinker , and at times with a religious person too, at times with a Hospital owner, at times with a wine shop owner. So the old age adages like the ones you mentioned dont work anymore. The meaning of Your statement " following Osho with astrology as a tool " does not make much sense, Please elaborate it. You cant call him a pimp for any reasons. This is not fair. Why must we take this as a personal issue and spoil your moods ? Please understand that its not necessary that anyone must agree with whatever you say, I say or he says. We must learn to live even with difference of opinions in a Group. Our relationships in the Group are much important , rather be spoilt with such an argument on what was Osho, and a difference of opinion caused ? Please come out of this. best wishes, Bhaskar. , " bhagavathi_hariharan " <bhagavathi_hariharan wrote: > > Dear Osho-ites, > > Some excerpts from the link, I posted > > //Rajneesh's health collapsed in his early thirties. Guest guest
Be not proud of ignorance, Be not anchored to the dark, for dark is always omnipresent and light has to blaze thru , with brilliance to dispel the unseen. There is a book/s of small quotes from Osho - Known as Gold Nugets & More Golden nugets. You can read it with entire family - no R stuff. He also has a book on Maturity - being oneself. He has clearly stated his views on SEX. Please read it. If you find anything vulgar - I think the few Oshoites in this forum will treat you to a cuo of good Tea ! Osho has said that religion is based on the type of worshippers. It is entirely possible that looking at the obsession about sex in the west - he spoke on it. I remember a line - Having sex with eyes closed is making love - with eyes open is pornography , but the orgasm is asexual. As for what the American state says, well they have had strange friends in the past who have later on become their arch enemies. It is not for a state to understand spiritualism. It is only interested in preserving status quo. When that is threatened it re - acts.
