Guest guest
dear srinath ji It says the 7 tara grahas rules 7 chakras (i will write seperate article on it ) it is part of kundlaini ( the serpent power in body which yogies uses ) yoga . There is 108 main marmas( nervous knots where it act like a power house or transformer it givs enough nourishmnt to all body parts under its jurisdiction and it says the prana vayu is pssed tru this areas then to chakras ) according to rishi agastrya ( who is supposed to b father of southern system of martial art in kerala also prevalent in adjscent places of kerala called Tamilnadu boarder ) and Tho i hav seen vasishta says abt 164 or some marma points he also agrees that it is 108 is the main ones ( same is the opinion of Lord parasu rama -It says he initiated keralites the Northern system of martial art ) so what i can gather frm acharyas it is nakshtra based . as there is 27 nakshtras and 4 pada s ,so 27 x 4 givs 108 so according to movemnt of moon tru nakshatra padas ( is this is not a proof of astrology ???) we can calculate where to attack a person and it says out of this 108 marmas 7 marmas are ( it is near chakras ) including hridaya marma which is near heart chakra ( by pointing or trusting a finger ( simple pointing is enough for those who gone tru sadhana and has mental power ( i mean a sort of elecricity will b passsed on to the aimed area ,but such secrets will b givn to a person who is said to hav all kind of satwik qualities --it says he has gone tru dharma putra vijayam ( means he become like dharma putra mentioned in MBH ) a spl area near heart chakra we can stop the breath or blood pumping in a person ) ,some marmas works ( i mean after attack the result can b seen ) after a purticulr numbr of days and i hav seen some one said to me a person employd a 90 days technic on one person and i heard it was the reason for sudden paralysis happened to the person exactly after the specified numbr of days of the attack Gurus will teach these technics only after completing full physical training education in attacking or protecting technics called 18 technics of kalary payattu ( frm bare hands to many many weapons including sword s ) and once they blv the student has got enough maturity then they teach the knowledge of this marmas on diffrnt levels and after the dharma putra vijayam only the pointing technics are taught . but this knowledge is important when ever we treat a person who has some physical injury tru accidents or some attacks ( so most of the kerala ayurvedic physicians has this knowledge tho most them dont know how to attack a person with this knowldge .Even there is some treatmnt dvlped as war medicine during the medival centuries in kerala which is based on marma points ( as in fighting mainly this areas gets affected and which is still cannot b treated by modern medicine ) i rembr one case of police cheif i think his name is karthikeyan who was in -charge of rajiv gandhi murder case investigation and while he practising Horse riding he fell frm horse back in marina beach madras and he was admitted to hospital with stiff body ( means he cannot mov his body smoothly all body part become immobile ( as the fall was head on ) and i personaly know one physician he by one simple technic cured it after all modern treatmnts failed and they even said he will b a vegetable for rest of the life and later Mr karthikeyan with his resources and conct helped this old physician to strt own ayurvedic medical college ( including permission and paper work and even helped in mobiling finace tru various ppl ) in Tamil nadu .This old physicians families were raja vaidyas of kerala -travancore kings and later they migrated to chennai during this person's life time . other wise astrological reference u can see lot of them in ballads (folk songs in praise of certain hero warriers ) of north kerala and south kerala may b i will gather all and publish it when time ripes . rgrds sunil nair , "Sreenadh" <sreesog wrote:>> Dear Sunil ji,> Ha...Ha... Guest guest
Dear Sunilji and All, This article is an example of how the ancient knowledge can still be used to propogate general well being and public health. This vast knowledge from our ancestors is in the danger of being lost and discredited - as in the case of some " famous " quacks using dubious allopathy medicine to treat people under guise of ayurveda. One way of perpetuating this gnyan is to give adequate publicity to it - and that too in pulic fora , lest somebody try to make it exclusive or patent it - and spread it wide enough so that some soul may rekindle it again in the public conscious. I see this article as the phyiscal aspect of the Chakras thread that was started a short time ago and Bhaskarji had explained in brief the moola chakra . We may be able to compile a interesting database.... for benefit of this ancient gnyan... if this thread is continued It has deep ramifications in an over populated country/ world where public infrastructure is breaking down. Thanks & Regards Chiranjiv Mehta --- On Sun, 26/4/09, Sreenadh <sreesog wrote: Sreenadh <sreesog Re: Marma-Tantra (Kundalini)-Martial art and Astrology Sunday, 26 April, 2009, 7:16 PM Dear Chandu ji, //BruceLee might have learnt this great martial art from one of the MalayaLee!// Humar intended but truth involved if we look at it from a historical perspective! :=) How? 1) Buddhist monks came to Kerala and learned this form of martial art (i.e. Kalari) from Kerala. 2) The well learned Bodhisatwas while in China (for the purpose of propagating Buddhism), modified this fighting system and taught it to the Chineese Buddhist monks - thus originated the systme of Karate and Kungfu. 3) Marial tribes in Chaina and Jappan improved, and modified this system a lot and introduced new methods to it - to make it unique. 4) Bruce-lee was a master Kungfu fighter artist. Guest guest
dear chandu ji Thanks for ur good words and subsequent thought provoking question. even this was discussed prvtly with smt.renuka ji who is a memebr of this grp who is a teacher budhist monks in srilanka .( sorry not martial arts ) Bodhidarma a keralite budhist monk ( there is some variations to this story as some says he is frm Tanjavore and a brahmin which is highly unlikely ) who was an adept in this world most oldest ancient and comprehensiv martial art travelled to china for spreading Budhism and all who know a bit of history this might hav happened during King Ashoka period ( he sent his own daughter and son as missionaries to many countries esp to srilanka and bodhi tree is supposed to plant by them and more abt it i expect renu ji will giv explanation ).And he was supposed to teach and train monks in famous shaolin temple .he find this monk s r weak and listless and he teach them 18 hands of budha ( which is 18 adavu or technics of kerala martial art later devlped as 36 chamber of shaolin ( there is also a movie in that name ) later known as shaolin boxing or Kungfu .Then this technics spread to other budhists countries and in Japan it devlped as Okinawan karatte ,in Korea i blv it is named as taikendo and in tailand as Tai kick boxing ,also some other forms also devlped in other countries like kubudo ,judo etc ( all r giving just one aspect in kalari for exmple the locks and throw technics in kalari is devlped as judo ,vital point attacks devlped as kungfu and bare hand methods ( known as verum kai ) devlped as karatte -u shud see that all countries who ever accepted or further devlped all this martial arts r budhist countries and in srilanka there was one martial art form but gone obsellete after portughese occupation ,but it was alive in some southern parts of kerala ( still may b ,i dont know ) as chingala adi ( sinhala martial arts or fighting methods ) ,history says kerala and her warring tribes has gr8 connection with srilanka historicaly ,Most of the srilankan prince's married kerala royal or warrier woman and some military class known as Thiyyas ( an twisted form of dwipar means those who came frm Island called srilanka or connected to srilanka ) or chekavar was part of sucicide army ( chaver pada ) means if some one goes for a military attack they will die there in war than come back defeated or without victory . hope i giv answer for ur question ( tho it was a humor ) and there is many many evidences historicaly for the proof of this . but let me stop here rgrds sunil nair , "Sreenadh" <sreesog wrote:>> Dear Chandu ji,> //BruceLee might have learnt this great martial art from one of the> MalayaLee!//> > Humar intended but truth involved if we look at it from a historical> perspective! :=) How?> > 1) Buddhist monks came to Kerala and learned this form of martial art> (i.e. Kalari) from Kerala.> 2) The well learned Bodhisatwas while in China (for the purpose of> propagating Buddhism), modified this fighting system and taught it to> the Chineese Buddhist monks - thus originated the systme of Karate and> Kungfu.> 3) Marial tribes in Chaina and Jappan improved, and modified this system> a lot and introduced new methods to it - to make it unique.> 4) Bruce-lee was a master Kungfu fighter artist.> > Now we consider Kalari, Karate, Kungfu etc as seperate and uniqe> martial arts with their own marits - but they all originated from the> same source, the Indian roots, and got propogated by the Buddhists to> other lands. > Love and regards,> Sreenadh> > , "Chandu2chill"> nanna_id2006@ wrote:> >> >> > Dear Shri Sunil Nair Ji,> >> > Thanks for the nice and educative post.. Guest guest
Dear chiranjiv mehta ji sure it is a good suggestion . I blv the public mindset shud change also govtmnt shud change some policies ,i think still any funding is not available for protecting ancient knowledge ,even the so called ayurveda colleges or sanskrit universities are functioning like some govtmnt organisation and they neglect who ever learned in family ,parampara or classical gurukula way ,i am sure still none of them is match for those who trained in orthox style of learning still the degrees and printed certificate make them blv knower of all ( actualy after + 2 many opt for ayurveda when they fail to get admission in medical college or same is true with many sanskrit university scholar who lacks real serious intentions as many r missed their path and reached there ) after india 's independence and nehruvian policies ( he was secretly consulting astrologers and publicly saying astrology is fake and astrologers r frauds , still the same double standard is ruling indian politics ) and subsequent economic devlpmnt of so called old british serving classes ( as indian allowed old british civil service to continue ) the ancient knowldge and scholar are neglected and the erosion is what all Muslim invasions or britishers cud not do this much in last millinniuam ,and abolition of king doms and zaminadary system has added fuel for this destruction , i know many ppl and places where lot of old books are lying idle and the keepers and the family is in deep poverty and they r selling this books to who ever may come with any money ( i know many cases books retrieved by airport authorities and filed cases which is meant for senting to europe or america ) .even next generation is not at all ready to learn and even they hate and curse themselves being born in such families ,rather they lov to born in some money lenders and /political burocrate/business families who has ample chance of making money tru all illegal means and liv a happy life so unless this set up and ppl mindset ( they want all free ) changes this will b destroyed completely i agree knowledge shud b tested b4 adopting and many r willing to show its efficacy too .i know personaly many of this ppl even has many many technics or medicines or even technology but no one wants it ( even there is no recognition too ) ,even any news papers or even media is not worried abt it .tho at times some media covers it where as the critics know everything ( their repeated attempts of continuace misquoting u r already seeing in this very grp itself ) and that is why they r even against testing and they think by making more noice or spreading more lies ( as most of the new generation is already away frm his roots due to machalayisation of indian education system and even trained to think english speak english or sleep english ) rgrds sunil nair the critic s are coming in diffrnt shades --some one is dharma pravarthaka ,some one is atheist ,some one is against spreading false blfs ,some one is in the name of scientific quest and some ppl as communists and some are against all frauds and u can see they share a common brother hood and pampering /supporting each other and will never attack and even will support each other ( all are diffrnt guices for common agenda and how they r grping each other and attacking one person jointly even without a civility or decency ??) and who is paying for their daily expenses who writes 100s mails in 100s of grps and working 24 hrs , chiranjiv mehta <vchiranjiv wrote:>> Dear Sunilji and All,> > This article is an example of how the ancient knowledge can still be used to propogate general well being and public health.> This vast knowledge from our ancestors is in the danger of being lost and discredited - as in the case of some "famous" quacks using dubious allopathy medicine to treat people under guise of ayurveda.> One way of perpetuating this gnyan is to give adequate publicity to it - and that too in pulic fora , lest somebody try to make it exclusive or patent it - and spread it wide enough so that some soul may rekindle it again in the public conscious.> I see this article as the phyiscal aspect of the Chakras thread that was started a short time ago and Bhaskarji had explained in brief the moola chakra . Guest guest
Dear Nairji, Instead of these books , manuscripts been taken away by/for some art collector's collection, it would be better off stored in some Musuem, maybe to be revived later on for posterity. I suggest we start an e-mail campaign and then get willing contributors togather to file a PIL in supreme court. This should be with the help of some legal luminaries. To get things done - to attaract the entire society, maximum number of regions, cultures races should be co-opted. The mass ( majority ) is what is right in Indian democracy. Please start quickly without much ado - Sreenadji & other moderators - and get some friends of the press involved. Thanks & RegardsChiranjiv Mehta

Guest guest
Dear Sunil Nairji, I have read somewhere long ago that there are different points (parts) in the human body which become sensitive in different tithis. Is this also part of the marma-Tantra? Regards, Sunil K. Bhattacharjya --- On Sat, 4/25/09, sunil nair <astro_tellerkerala wrote: sunil nair <astro_tellerkerala Re: Marma-Tantra (Kundalini)-Martial art and Astrology Saturday, April 25, 2009, 11:52 AM dear srinath ji It says the 7 tara grahas rules 7 chakras (i will write seperate article on it ) it is part of kundlaini ( the serpent power in body which yogies uses ) yoga .. There is 108 main marmas( nervous knots where it act like a power house or transformer it givs enough nourishmnt to all body parts under its jurisdiction and it says the prana vayu is pssed tru this areas then to chakras ) according to rishi agastrya ( who is supposed to b father of southern system of martial art in kerala also prevalent in adjscent places of kerala called Tamilnadu boarder ) and Tho i hav seen vasishta says abt 164 or some marma points he also agrees that it is 108 is the main ones ( same is the opinion of Lord parasu rama -It says he initiated keralites the Northern system of martial art ) so what i can gather frm acharyas it is nakshtra based . as there is 27 nakshtras and 4 pada s ,so 27 x 4 givs 108 so according to movemnt of moon tru nakshatra padas ( is this is not a proof of astrology ???) we can calculate where to attack a person and it says out of this 108 marmas 7 marmas are ( it is near chakras ) including hridaya marma which is near heart chakra ( by pointing or trusting a finger ( simple pointing is enough for those who gone tru sadhana and has mental power ( i mean a sort of elecricity will b passsed on to the aimed area ,but such secrets will b givn to a person who is said to hav all kind of satwik qualities --it says he has gone tru dharma putra vijayam ( means he become like dharma putra mentioned in MBH ) a spl area near heart chakra we can stop the breath or blood pumping in a person ) ,some marmas works ( i mean after attack the result can b seen ) after a purticulr numbr of days and i hav seen some one said to me a person employd a 90 days technic on one person and i heard it was the reason for sudden paralysis happened to the person exactly after the specified numbr of days of the attack Gurus will teach these technics only after completing full physical training education in attacking or protecting technics called 18 technics of kalary payattu ( frm bare hands to many many weapons including sword s ) and once they blv the student has got enough maturity then they teach the knowledge of this marmas on diffrnt levels and after the dharma putra vijayam only the pointing technics are taught . but this knowledge is important when ever we treat a person who has some physical injury tru accidents or some attacks ( so most of the kerala ayurvedic physicians has this knowledge tho most them dont know how to attack a person with this knowldge .Even there is some treatmnt dvlped as war medicine during the medival centuries in kerala which is based on marma points ( as in fighting mainly this areas gets affected and which is still cannot b treated by modern medicine ) i rembr one case of police cheif i think his name is karthikeyan who was in -charge of rajiv gandhi murder case investigation and while he practising Horse riding he fell frm horse back in marina beach madras and he was admitted to hospital with stiff body ( means he cannot mov his body smoothly all body part become immobile ( as the fall was head on ) and i personaly know one physician he by one simple technic cured it after all modern treatmnts failed and they even said he will b a vegetable for rest of the life and later Mr karthikeyan with his resources and conct helped this old physician to strt own ayurvedic medical college ( including permission and paper work and even helped in mobiling finace tru various ppl ) in Tamil nadu .This old physicians families were raja vaidyas of kerala -travancore kings and later they migrated to chennai during this person's life time . other wise astrological reference u can see lot of them in ballads (folk songs in praise of certain hero warriers ) of north kerala and south kerala may b i will gather all and publish it when time ripes . rgrds sunil nair ancient_indian_ astrology, " Sreenadh " <sreesog wrote: > > Dear Sunil ji, > Ha...Ha... Guest guest
dear sunil bhattacharji Actualy i realy dont know There is thithi sunya rasies ,in kerala prashna esp in deva prashna they use (esp when seeing the presence of moorthy chaitanya and why in case the chaitanya gone down and reasons ,so the bhavas represented by each rasies explains the reasons for diminishing moorthy or deva chaitanya in purticular temple for exmple the 12th gone defunct it represents the tantric person who installed deity is not happy ( by giving his prana means prana prathishta and it is a practise in kerala temples when ever a new preist took over the tantric person or his family memebr inititate the new preist in moola mantra of diety and its sankalpa poojas and other things required to conduct daily poojas including the way naivedya and offering shud b done ) and may b his family ( in case he is no more ) is not givn proper respect or attention frm the authorities of temples ,if 4th house the temple lands or vehicles are misused or encroached like this ,so may b moorthy has anger frm this ,so each thithi has 2 signs goes combust ( except on pournami and amavasya ) and u know in rasies physiology there is body parts assigned to each signs ( i dont know or never tried to see it in the lite of medical astrology ) so i dont know it is applied in marma prayoga as we need not know the chart of our opponents and during olden days The kings and royals always keep it as secret and even the nakshtras they born they kept as secret as opponnt can plan attacks with moons transits and other transits of planets with respect to moon sign s . I hav seen reference in some mantraic books that moon 's diffrnt phaces ( means also thithies ) refer right part and left part of human body ( as there is 2 paksha s and 15 thithies ) and in ladies we see reverse .It is used in vasya prayoga (vasikaran a method in mantra vada and mantra sastras )or attacking other person tru mantric karmas ( esp in black mantra vada ) and kama prayoga too ( means recommnded by kama sastra which r the diffrnt areas in body gets activated ( zones ) according to diffrnt thithies ) but i dont know it can b used in marma technics Now i hav no access to guru 's or books as i am sitting far away frm my nativ place . let me see any information if i can gather i will share with u and grp rgrds sunil nair , Sunil Bhattacharjya <sunil_bhattacharjya wrote:>> Dear Sunil Nairji,> > I have read somewhere long ago that there are different points (parts) in the human body which become sensitive in different tithis.
