The Vedic Astrologer told the person that the he (native) is 'Cursed' and it is most unfortunate chart. Obviously, the person, an western female is depressed and enquired whether there is anything redeeming in her chart. The B'data is : 20:06 hrs, 16th September, 1958. POB : Chicago The lagna should be around 12 degree of Capricorn. Do the seniors see anything good in her chart ? The lady has two children & 2 ex-husbands (divorced). She is scared of lving her life alone. If this is the data, then apart from some back problems the native is far from cursed. If the above is the chart, I am not surprised about the two ex-husbands. However, if the above is the chart, I don't really think she is depressed with what an astrologer told her. She is a very mentally strong person with a wonderful support system in place. The data I got is from Astrodienst, & I accept that as accurate. That is the reason I did mention the Lagna and degree BTW, please don't put 'Pandit' in front of my name. The native also said that TOB may be off by few minutes-so probablity exists that the lagna may be in Pisces. In any case, lagna is in Gandanta. Anyway, taking the shakuna in consideration (error in reporting wrong Lagna and presence of bugs), let us drop this subject. And I do apologize for creating confusion in the forum. Next time I will be more careful. However, they have certain time adjustments, specially during summer when the time is 1 hr ahead, which is known as " Daylight Saving Time " (DST in short), while the watches run normally during the winters. With reference to the given chart, as Mr.Chakraborty confirmed that he is talking about Chicago, in Illinois State, then it falls in Eastern Time, which is 5 hrs west to GMT(w.r.t. IST- it is -10:30 hrs). However, the given DOB is during the DST correction, which is 1 hr, so the corrected time zone will be 6 hrs West to GMT(-11:30 hrs of IST). So the given Lagna is Aries(Mesh). Though I had been to USA four times, mostly to California and the adjoing states and once to Florida, I always thought there are three time zones. Thank you for correcting me.
