If sage parasara permits receiving money from people for the sake of livelihood of the astrology - who in search of free meal is arguing that astrologer should not receive money in return of their serveices?! Does those parasites in search of a free meal will feed the family of the astrologer or what?! I had ignored this comment once or twice, but this coming again and again, demands the reader to ask for an explanation. I am yet to receive the refrence for the above quoted term from the MBh and Manusmriti. I also hoppe that the refrence is given alongwith the cotext in which it was spoken so as it can be guaged as to why this comment was made in the first place, if it was made at all in the aforesaid texts. Because I can sense some twisting and misinterpretaion done here to suit individual purpose and lend support to ones own claims of nothing tangible. About the Poojaris, doing Pooja and accepting money also being called as Chandalas, and the surgeons who charge fees for their Chikitsa, also I am wondering why has this not been put up on the National Channels, that they are actually Chandalas. I would not mind with the current state of affairs, to being put in the " minority " section so that i could also take great many advantages awarded to these sections, from the present day government since i am a Chandala. regards/Bhaskar. Guest guest
Dear Bhaskarji, Why don't you post the message of marg about " hay fever and jyotishis " . I read your crisp reply. I did not realize I am a member of that group. I posted a reply, probably it was too saucy, it did not get approved. Guest guest
Dear Bhagwathiji, I could have posted a more crispier one, but did not, due to a note from the Moderator asking me not to use strong words. I was alreadyput in trouble there last year, due to the games played by the only CEO of a Jyotish group, who also was banned from there, but who came back in another id which bears the same name differently. (We all know he uses 3-4 ids and calls all of them official. Whenever he is caught with a new ID it becomes official from then on. ) Two of my mails too have not been approved. regards, Bhaskar. , " bhagavathi_hariharan " <bhagavathi_hariharan wrote: > > Dear Bhaskarji, > > Why don't you post the message of marg about " hay fever and jyotishis " . Guest guest
Dear Bhaskarji, My reply did not get approved. I was surprised by marg's limited knowledge about everything. He/She has used a word hanky, which is a small square piece. ... has used linen which is big like the bedsheet. I wrote the exact word " set of dhoti " and also metioned that there is no point in giveing the jyotish a pair of bermudas and jeans. Probably, this was offensive to the westerner, who is glorified by the moderator This thread reminded me of my first arrival in the US as a student. A professor was asking me and a group of Indian students to work on Black molds research. We said that it is not a big issue in our country. Then a blonde girl asked me " are there no Air conditioners in India " . I said, even in a big city like bombay, if you open all the windows and doors of your house, you will get natural arir conditioner, that is why we have no issues with black molds. That made sense to everyone bhagavathi
Guest guest
Dear Bhagavati ji,We can extend ourselves only within the limits of our own prejudices. Astrology as Jyotish cannot and will never be comprehended by a western mindset. What is accepted naturally by us is questioned naturally by them!! They have always been in awe of the wealth we have (including the swiss accounts!). Either they take that wealth away and make it their own (patenting our products) or else call it fake!RegardsNeelam 2009/4/6 bhagavathi_hariharan <bhagavathi_hariharan Dear Bhaskarji, My reply did not get approved. Guest guest
Dear Bhagwathi ji, Yes I can see that she lacks knowledge though i will not be allowed to say that on the face to her in that group. She was also talking almost all the time in a derogatory manner about India, the origin of astrology in India, the indian astrologers etc.etc. I have had my share of exchanges with her last year, probably the reason she does not enter in any argument with me, the other being lack of knowledge to argue. regards, Bhaskar. , " bhagavathi_hariharan " <bhagavathi_hariharan wrote: > > Dear Bhaskarji, > > My reply did not get approved.
