Guest guest
Satya, Do not consider saturn as evil.It is a karta planet. It gives the fruits of our actions in this or past births. The 12th house deals with punishment (significator : Saturn),long journeys(venus),misfortune & bad habits(Rahu),bed pleasure(Venus),sleep(moon),meditation(ketu),donation(jupiter),secret enemies(rahu),heaven(jupiter),left eye(moon, venus),expenditure(saturn). The twelfth house has been aptly called the house of self undoing whereby ones ego is destroyed and the soul is purified for onward journey to heaven. It can show terrible misfourtunes whereby one is punished for the sins of the past karma or can be all forgiven like pisces the 12th house of the natural zodiac. If spiritual planets like the sun, jupiter and ketu are strongly influencing the ascendant or the tenth house, they would indicate low materialism and high spiritualism whereas if moon, venus and rahu are strongly influencing the ascendant or the tenth, they indicate high materialism and poor spiritualism. The reverse holds good for the twelfth house. Is it doubly bad because dusthana and malefic? I do know malefic in dusthana is better than benefic but in my chart it is in parivartan with a benefic Moon in 6H and aspects (3rd) LL Sun in the 2H. > > What is the significance of 12H in horoscope? It is not clear in any of the texts I attempt to read. Losses, expenses and moksha do not seem to have anything common to interpret in horoscope. A strong malefic in house of losses leads to losses or saves us from it? > > I understand all the bhavas are important for living your destiny and reach the ultimate objective of moksha after many lives. But all other bhavas have some clear significations for aspects in human life like 2H for money and family, 5H for children or learning which are all part of living our destiny. Why then only 12H is called house of moksha? > > Regards, > Satya >
