Combinations for let-downs

Hello All,

I had an occasion to meet an astrologer with whom I raised a prasna regarding a

friend of mine who was having a tough time at his job / work. The astrologer

told me that the people whom he trusts and thinks will stand by him will take

full advantage of his goodness on personal and professional levels but will not

help him in any way. They will let him down after taking advantage of him. When

I told my friend about this, he said that an astrologer had told him the same

thing earlier. Can anyone tell me what are the combos for this situation in

astrology? As far as I am aware, it has to be one of the following two.

1) lagna lord in 6th where relatives become enemies.

2) fourth lord with malefics. I was told this combination means that the person

will not get any help from his /her family, brothers, sisters.

But can anyone tell me what is the combination where people whom you trust let

you down?

Dear Anita,

In my view 1st lord in 12th,native will give all efforts for others.

2nd lord in 12th all family members will be get benefits from the native.

My personal reading,which planet occupied in 12th the Karka of the planets get

the benefits from the native directly or indirectly.

See these in urs friends chart.

Dear Anita ji, There could be many combinations from which astrologers could derive such a result. One one usual combination they depend upon is - * The Lagna lord going to enemy house and the dasa or antara of the same planet running. This result would be told based on the words given in phaladeepika "Snigthopi tasyati riputwamapnuyal" (even the friends and well wishers will let him down and will become his enemies) Such a result predicted may depend on many factors and (the above being one among the same), and can get modified depending on the planetary positions. Since almost all the results are derived ones, it is difficult to say based on exactly what the said astrologer derived such a result. Sreenadh ji,

Can 4L in 6H (Scorpio / Mars which is badhak for Leo lagna) also means same

thing? But Mars here is exalted and in parivartan with Saturn in 9H (Aries -

badhak sthan).

This person had fall from grace and left lonely - both at home with family and

outside with friends and colleagues. He is known to be a very nice and helpful

person - but his own family is split fighting over him and he is thrown out of

job twice for no fault of his own.

I am intrigued here because there seems to be no link to Ma / Sa at all - all

this happened in Ra-Ke antar dasa, Ra is in 7H and Ke is in Lagna along with

Moon (12L).

Dear Satya ji,

Leo Lagna; Lagna lord Sun in 6th in Cp along with Mars;

Saturn in 9th in Aries; Ke in Leo Lagna and Ra in 7th in Aq - This is what I

gather from your words.

Here Lagna lord Sun is in 6th and is supposed to give bad results

during Sun Dasa. These bad results can also materialize during Ketu dasa or

antara since Ke is placed in Leo the sign of Sun. (and Ke is supposed to give

the result of its hose lord and the planets it is placed along with). In

short Ke (or even Ra - the other part of Ketu) will give the results of Sun

placed in 6th house - i.e. 6th house results. Now what are these 6th

house results and which are the planets associated with? They are 4th lord Mars

in 6th (losing peace of mind, losing friends-land-relatives etc), Lagna lord

Sun in 6th (health problems, sadness, police warrants, loss of position etc),

6th lord Saturn in 9th in debilitation (loss of luck, relationship problems

with father and elders), 9th lord in 6th (loss of luck) - all indicating bad

results! [Ofcourse positive results indicated by malefic in 6th, 9th lord

aspecting 9th, 6th lord aspecting 6th, 7th lord in 9th - also will be there.

But since as of now we are interested in the qn "why the bad

results?" - I am concentrating on the same]

So it is just natural that all those results materialized in

Ra/Ke; Ra giving the results of Saturn and Ke giving the results of Sun - both

connected with Mars in 6th.

Note: Considering the indicated combinations alone, the situations

will change and positive results should materialize during Ra/Ma.
