Is it sin if someone study Astrology as a professional study and want to become professional astrologer?

Respected Guru jis,Namaskar,I have one question in my mind.Is it sin if someone study Astrology as a professional study and want to become professional astrologer and charge fee for his/her consultancy? 

Actually, I want to become astrologer like a Doctor or other professionals. -- Thanks,Vikkas

Dear Vikas,

 

First you must study, and then later think of money and other advantages

accruing. Before the cow has come home, you are thinking of selling the

milk, milked from its udders. This is amusing.

 

But to answer your query, as in any other profession, if you want to

become a Professional astrologer and earn money, then be sure, astrology

must be used primarily , only for helping people, and secondarily motive

must be financial gains, and not the other way round. Making a fool of

people from such sciences will surely not help. Therefore if your

intentions are pure and clear, then go ahead.

 

Now please do not send me a reply about your good qualities etc. Just

know that it is not a sin for what you enquired.

Will you use Astrology for causing harm to anyone?First suggestion/advice will be --"Dont study astrology if earning money through Astrology is your sole mission/aim in life", i.e. Karmayogi---study astrology, forgetting about earning money through astrology. Involve yourself deeply. If you are successful & have blessing of Lakshmi, money will certainly usher in. Be it in India or abroad--yes, some people look for professional consultations or paid service & certainly you may assist them, however, this doesn't mean that you will be meant only for the creamy layer of the society--help those who dont have money, who are in distress, else, at the end of the balance sheet, you will never get blessings of people.Never work looking at the end result as I said.Even I know doctors, who charge people heavily, & also run clinic meant only for those people, who dont have money to pay his fees, or buy medicine--for which that doctor runs a *free clinic* & a dispensary. Respected Bhaskar Sir,Thanks for reply.You are right. I am a person like a day dreamer. I usually enjoy the result of destination (in dreams) after only taking 2-3 steps.I agree you said exact true words " if you want to become a Professional astrologer and earn money, then be sure, astrology must be used primarily , only for helping people, and secondarily motive must be financial gains, and not the other way round "

Respected Gaurav Sir,Thanks,I have to learn from time. Or Time will teach me.//Firstly what do you understand by the term " Sin " ?//Sir, I tried lot to understand what is Paap and Puna? and failed everytime. My understanding about

Paap: 1) If you do something that harms somebody. 2) If you do something that is wrong according to ur unconscious mind.  //Why studying astrology as a professional study?//Sir, Why do not i study as a  professional study? I take it as a study like medical science.

Why don't I take this as part time like other fields?And Sir, I think, Astrologers should charge some fee for their consultancy. Anyway, I have PG degree in computers and degree of 'Jyotish Acharya'.

This is the poor state of affairs, who got pride of his own knowledge.

Astrology is connected with all science directly or indirectly. Astronomy is speaks about

discription of plants and Astrology is speaks about application of planatery force

on living beings i.e. Human beings, animals, trees etc.

I think one should take interest to develop this science by" object way"but not "subjective way" so that we can do justice to oue ancient sciences
