Guest guest
Dear learned members, // Is this so rare a combination??// Yes, quite possible. This Yoga is possible only for Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Aquarius and Pisces born natives. That too where Moon is involved in forming the Yoga, for Libra, Scorpio and Pisces Lagnas....the time is more restricted. blessings, Renu , " Souvik Dutta " <explore_vulcan wrote: > > Dear Bhagavathi-ji, Neelam-ji, members, > > The obsession of finding a chart with Shiva Yoga is on me. > I looked up around 30-40 charts but not even in a single one did I find Shiva Yoga. > Is this so rare a combination?? > > Dear members of AIA, > I understand that many members don't want to share birth details with strangers or on public forums. Guest guest
Dear all, kindly have a look to the following case: virgo asc, jupiter in sagi & venus in pisces; both r in kendras from 9L t ofcourse both donot satisfy the same condition from 11L... mercury in capricorn.but here, being the LL, it automatically considered to be in kendra. Does the above qualify the BRAHMA YOGA to some extent? This is precisely what I was discussing. In this case, Jupiter from 9L is the only condition that needs to be satisfied. Is venus here considered in kendra to 11L? Mercury is in kendra to LL, but if it is placed elsewhere, can it give a yoga by virtue of its kendra placement from mercury?See this case:mer, venus, sun in lagna and jup in 10H. I know some people with this combination, and it is quite common, does it make them 'BRAHMA YOGIS'? If not, why not?Hope I am clear in what I want to say.RegardsNeelam 2009/3/3 ShankaraBharadwaj Khandavalli <shankarabharadwaj@ > Dear Neelam ji,Consider this combination: Sagi lagna Ju in Karkataka (8th house, exalted) Su, Me and Ve in 11th house. The results given are that the person will enjoy luxurious foods, will be respected by Brahmins and learned men, will be highly learned, long-lived, charitable and always bent on doing good deeds.Let us take sagitarius lagna. Here Venus is 11L and Mercury is 10L. How do we see this Yoga. 2/3 of it will always be in operation. When Jupiter comes in Kendra with sun, this will be complete. What is your opinion on this? Does this yoga hold good for sagis? Similarly for cancer ascendants, where Jupiter himself is 9L and venus is 11L, how do we read this yoga? Should these ascendants, by virtue of their 9/10/11 lordships already owned by these benefics be banned from participating in the yoga? Or are they inherently having part of this yoga under operation?BV Raman himself has said, //if, say, three factors are necessary to make up a certain yoga, the presence of even one or two cannot but suggest that the yoga does operate, may be feeble.//Would like to have opinions/experience s on that.RegardsNeelam
Guest guest
Dear Shankar ji,// I think that should still be okay. Venus being 11L, he is in kendra - by definition we say 1/4/7/11 for kendra and we do not exclude 1. //I agree with you here. Even for yogas like GKY, where moon is supposed to be in Kendra to Jupiter, we do consider their conjunction as GKY. (but there are divided opinions on this and some do not consider it so) //Since the requirement is that the four planets in question should be in kendras to each other and not necessarily in kendra from Lagna, this should also be okay. //I think the yoga does not specify that all should be in Kendra to each other. It lays down three conditions. Venus in Kendra to 11LJupiter in Kendra to 9LMer in Kendra to either ascendant/10LAll three may or may not be Kendra to each other, as the yoga specifies no such condition. If I am wrong or have incomplete information, I stand corrected. I think the basic premise of this yoga is to have the karak/benefic in Kendra to the concerned house lord to strengthen the lord. Venus in Kendra to 11L will promote luxuries, riches etc, jup in Kendra to 9L will make one learned and respected by Brahmins, similarly mercury in Kendra from ascendant/10L can make one perform good deeds and be long lived. Whatever placements we see from house, should be seen from the lord also. By this logic, for cancer lagna, where Jupiter is 9L and venus is 11L, 2/3 of the yoga is always in operation, wherever they may be in a chart. That leaves only mercury which has again good chances of being in Kendra to either the lagna lord or the 10L. Does it mean that cancerians are more likely to have the good effects of this yoga?RegardsNeelam

The advantage in case of cancer is that Ju/Ve are the lordsof 9/11 themselves, but they should be in own/exalted, and Me also should not be suffering for the yoga to be really effective. neelam gupta <neelamgupta07 Friday, March 6, 2009 9:18:48 PMSubject: Re: Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva Yogas Dear Shankar ji,// I think that should still be okay. The only point was that in cancer lagna this yoga will be formed more easily, but how strong it is, one needs to judge. Also, to think about it, the results of Brahma Yoga are not very exclusive and can be found in many persons. e.g it says the person will enjoy luxurious foods, will be respected by Brahmins and learned men, will be highly learned, long-lived, charitable and always bent on doing good deeds, which is quite common place. Guest guest
Dear Radha-ji, Dharmakarmadhipati - yes but I don't think so Vishnu Yoga is formed. By definition: Vishnu Yoga Source: http://www.aryabhatt.com/astrology%20book/astrologyV.htm A combination formed by the lords of the 9th and 10th houses as well as the lord of the Navamsa (q.v.) sign lord of the 9th (all three) posited in the 2nd house. It makes the individual favored in an important way by the state. By nature, he is patient, is erudite, skilled in debating and is an engaging conversationalist. He becomes rich and lives for long. With the chart I got from the information you provided, 9L is Sun, 10L is Mer placed in 2H of Capricorn. However, the 3rd. criteria is the the D-9 9H Lord also has to be associated which in this case is Saturn (D-9 9H is Capri). However, Saturn is not present in 2H in D-1 but in the 11H in Libra. Guest guest
Hello, May be this chart qualifies for a vishnu yoga? Lagna is makara, kuja in vrishabha in 5th house, guru/chandra/budha/shukra/ravi in 7th in karkataka, shani in 8th in leo. Guest guest
Radha-ji, I re-verified it from the Raman's 300 combinations and yes it does qualify for Vishnu Yoga. The earlier website reference was confusing. Here is the clear reference from BV Raman's 300 important Yoga. http://www.barbarapijan.com/bpa/Yogas/b_yoga_61_90.htm Definition.—If the lord of Navamsa in which the 9th lord is placed, and the 10th lord joins the 2nd house in conjunction with the 9th lord, Vishnu Yoga is caused. If we read this as the lord of the Navamsa in which the 9th. lord from the Rasi is placed-yes Oprah's chart qualifies for Vishnu Yoga. 9th. Lord from Rasi is Sun and is placed in Taurus Navamsa, the lord of which Venus is the 2H with Sun and the 10th. lord Mercury. Thanks for pointing this out. Guest guest
Radhaji, Hari and Hara are synonyms for Vishnu and Shiva. Hence the yoga goes by hariharabrahma or brahmavishnushiva yoga. Guest guest
Bhagavathiji, I know that Hari and Hara are synonyms of Vishnu and Shiva, however in 300 Important Combinations by B.V.
