Dear Mr. Ghosh,

Sorry to butt in.

I have also seen the quotation in Saptarishi astrology mag.

It mentions that the quotation is from Chandra Kala Nadi,

Vol. 3 Sloka 2187-2188. It mentions that in Kaliyuga, without

presence of debilitated planets, no exalted planet can give rise

to Raj-yoga. Even 3 exlated planets in chart are useless. Exalted

planet only, without simultaneous presence of deb planet will give rise to

poverty

It does not mention whether that exaltation or deb. should be seen

in navamsa.

(Personally I like that sloka .. I have too many deb planet in rashi chart

and one of them is vargottama !!)

Dear Chakrabortyji,If that is the case and also if given a choice, which planet one would like generally to have debilitated and which ones to have exalted. In other words is there any such preferred combinations astrologically? Any guess?Regards,Sunil K. Dear Bhattacharjya-ji,

Frankly, I don't mind having any planet in any state in my chart.

I don't know what is there in my chart , except Sat & moon are deb.

& Taurus lagna.

Dear learned members,Can you kindly tell us about the Saturn as neecha (debilitated) but with a neechabhanga yoga and its effects. You may also kindly extend that where any other graha is also debilated.Regards,Sunil K. dear Sunil ji,

Libra Ascendant. Saturn with Venus in the ascendant will be a

neechbhanga Yoga. Or saturn in any kendra with a Planet Exalted in the

same raashi would constitute a Neechbhanga too. Or saturn in any Raashi

with the Lord of that raashi being placed Exalted anywhere would also

constitute a neechbhanga. What would be the effects would depend on many

factors like The Lordships of the 2 Planets conjoined in question, and

how they behave for the particular ascendant.

regards/Bhaskar.
