But i am not able to predict much about myself, though tried many times. My date of Birth is 25/05/1971. and time is 6.54 am and place is Malad (Mumbai). Though i am running through a Guru's mahadasa, my life is just an average ( or below average). Worst thing in my chart is Sun Saturn combination in LAGNA and LAGNA lord in 12th house from all the three important LAGNA ( Ascendent, Sun and Moon), and the BEST thing is Guru in the 7th house a (a centre) is retrograde. I have a huge debt to b cleared. The best time i had is wenever Mercury comes in antardasa and worst is wen ever i had saturn antardasa. Please help me in reading my own chart and predict important event suggest any remedies also. Thanks and regards. Ashwin . Get your new Email address! You can learn to read your chart by going through the archives where many charts were analyzed and discussions happened on planetary combinations, to hone your skills. If Varma-ji is good, those pointers will help him. And if he is not so, (like someone trying to get his horoscope checked ), then that pointers will help to remove him from the list...without generating any ill-feelings. Anyway, this is my personal views only. Guest guest Posted February 17, 2009 Report Share Posted February 17, 2009 Dear Mr. Chakraborty ji, There has been many modern day stalwarts with internet fame, could not take the heat in the group and have to leave the group on their own to save their " Internet Profiles " !! 1) A self proclaimed senior astro - loves Jupiter bashing, could not explain his theories with examples, when many others joined to verify and validate his theories 2) Prash Trivedi - an young man with $ $ $ ambitions, does NOT want to discuss navamsa or birth rectification, but wants to debate on D-30 Shastyamsa 3) A top rated astrologer Rishi Prasad, who is self confessed consultant astrologer to all Western leaders...etc.. could not read beyond his own birth chart..... visit his website and see his own blogs....how many times, he went wrong and boasted.... 4) Go to other see the REMEDIES that they suggest......the quality of READINGS are also disgusting or pathetic.... The list goes on & on..... Infact, in the archives, there is true knowledge...free from complexity..... if one wants to really learn.... he can pick threads from there and post questions..... accordingly.... we are having blind chart discussions, planetary placement positions and its predictions..... out of 2400 members hardly 4-5 participate.... People want to learn, but do not want put the effort...... we also slogged hard to learn the techniques in hard way .... why should we share it freely...without knowing the other person's credentials...... Earlier, I used to write in these very forums, 5 yrs minimum reading, ability + c apacity to spend Rs. 1,00,000 {One lac} or Rs.100,000 { One hundred thousand} then only take plunge into astrology else, consult a professional astrologer. Some smart people, wanted to know basics of astrology to query and test the professional astros. I hope they do the same or apply the same yard stick - when they approach Medical doctors for their ailments..... i.e. do some base level M.B.B.S. studies and then consult or approach a qualified Doctor. Let me put the basic info to be assimilated by any aspiring astro before he able to read others charts 1) Know the basisc of astrology the mathematical part, helps you to verify the authencity of chart 2) Know the attributes of each Sign, Planet & House 3) Know the attributes or behavior of a Planet in each of the Sign. i.e. Sun in Aries, Taurus......Pisces. 4) Know the attributes or behavior of Planet in various houses /bhavas i.e. Sun in Lagna, in 2H.....12H 5) Know the Yogas i.e. planetary combinations + aspects, conjuctions...etc. 6) Know the importance of Vargas and its interpretation 7) For a given dasha or significance of a planet, see it from Birth, Moon, Sun charts. The positions in each may vary i.e. Sun may be in Lagna in birth chart, but it may be in 6H when seen from Moon chart, and in 12H when seen from Sun chart. 8) Make a summary of all the possible predictions that one can give from analysis of Point No. 7. Moderate the final prediction accordingly 9) Use the vargas to either strengthen your Point No.8 prediction or to further dilute it from the positions in Vargas. 10) The method of seeing the Vargas may differ based on the school of thoughts one is into i.e. some see aspects, others do NOT, few use super-impose methods, some use ashtakvarga in vargas also. 11) Use the principle of Bhavat Bhavam in every chart. 12) Use Ashtakvarga as taught you by your school of thought. This is a basic and simplistic steps of reading a chart. You can now kick start from the above and participate in the quiz and gain knowlege accordingly.
