I do have faith and agree that a well merited mukurtha do pay divine honor to

an undertaking and Vastu sastra do have bearing on lay-out nirmaana and their

longevity .

In the case of present retake mukurtha I am not clear about its timing however,I

am sure, it shall have an allonge effect to the original mukurtha, beyond any

dispute.

In this connection,I would like to add that multiple mukurtha for a single event

is not new to me; in most parts of Dakshin Bharat wedlocks are centered on

multiple mukurthas(engagements in Sayahna mukurtha- Lagnapatrika in Pradosha

mukurtha- mangalsuthradhaarana in Arunodaya / Prathah mukurtha- Nagavalli in

Madhyahna mukurtha- nisheka in Nisheetha mukurtha) to avert / circumvent any

mukurthakaal dosha that might have been crept-in inadvertantly.

I respect Shri.Nairs views too.

I recall from historical documents and notes, about the great

Vijayanagar empire foundation......where the original muhurta was fixed,

but during execution of foundation stone, some odd sound was mistaken as

the right omen, which was later realised as the wrong { by few minutes}

....by then the life of the empire was brought done from 500 yrs to 250

yrs.....

 

A slight variation to the muhurta under-discussion.
