This is the reason that is why constellations are changing their size and shape (Shri Kaul Ji's point). This time Sagittarius- A* is almost exactly at that point(means if we try to see by telescope this time). But after some thousand years picture will become more clear that Sagittarius- A* is at what distance from that point(means it will become visible and we would be able to see that by telescope) and what is its placement wrt to the Galactic centre. But Nasa would be having data this time that what is the distance of Sagittarius A* with that point. Nakshatra which are working for us today will not work in the same fashion after million years. So our maharishis scriptures will start getting failed but no problem new maharishis will write new Purans for next generations. Thanks for the good mail!!! Guest guest
Dear Goelji, Is any astronomical and/or astrological reference available on this? Also has it any bearing on the need to perform the "Moola-nakshatra-shanti" when a child is born in the Moola nakshatra? Regards, Sunil K. Guest guest
Dear Sunil Bhattacharjya ji, Right from the Vedic days Moola Nakshatra is called "Moola Barhis" meaning "The one which sprung out from the center like a swirl". The word Moola means Root or Center. So it is clear that the ancient seers knew well about the importance of this Nakshatra and identified it as the center of our galaxy. The area around Moola star is considered in Vedas as the "Path to Yama Loka" the "Dark Place" where the milky way galaxy branches into two - Yes, it is a black hole that is present at the center of Milky way galaxy! For Yama time does not exist, and so is for a Black hole - for which even time does not make sence, since even light rays cannot escape from there! Yes, we can find many references to Moola as Moola Barhis and as the starting point of many calculations. Love and regards, Sreenadh , Sunil Bhattacharjya <sunil_bhattacharjya wrote:>> Dear Goelji,> > Is any astronomical and/or astrological reference available on this?
