A scientific approach to Indian Astrology

 

There has been lot of questions coming along in my mind for a long time. What is it that is governing a man’s life as a whole? Why should a person be rich? We could always say that circumstances led him/her to become rich. So what is governing these circumstances? Each person goes through a unique set of circumstances that make him or her different from others. So while thinking about these questions I heard people talking about Indian astrology and the way the planetary positions govern a person’s life. I was really not a person who would believe these concepts. But if we make an insight, we can easily see that our fore fathers have been able to find all the planets even before any form of telescope was found. They have also found the amount of time each planet takes to revolve around its orbit. Thinking along these lines I found some interesting observations that I would like to share in this write up.According to Indian astrology the life on earth is governed by the movement of the planets in solar system. By planets I mean all the bodies in solar system that have an impact on earth. In order to see how these planets could make an impact on earth, we should base all our calculations relative to earth.Indian astrology divides each planets orbit into twelve different regions. These are called as Rashis. A person’s Rashi is determined by the position of moon at the time of birth. Earth has twelve months in a year for this reason. Earth takes thirty days to cross each region in its orbit. Similarly Saturn takes 2.5 years to cross each region. So it takes 30 years for Saturn to go around its orbit. This is the reason why Sani Bhagavan takes 30 years to come to one’s Rashi and stays there for 2.5 years. Similarly each planets time to revolve and the time it takes for it to cross each region have been calculated millions of years ago.Thinking along these lines I was able to make out a hypothesis. We could easily make out a twelve digit number system from the fact that each planet has twelve different regions along its orbit. Let’s say that {0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, A, and B} form this number system. Taking into consideration all the nine planets we could easily say that 12 power 9 unique combinations are possible. This accounts to 5159780352 unique combinations. This is more or less equal to current world’s population. Let’s call each combination as a globally unique identifier (a GUID). So each person should have got one of these globally unique identifiers. This explains the fact that each person has a globally unique finger print. There could be other stars which might have earth like planets in them and these could also have an impact on the life of each person.Though there are too many unknowns, we could easily figure out that there was some basis on which these concepts have been derived. Not everything could be right in what Indian astrology says. But more research in these topics could reveal more interesting facts which might help us streamline our search for new planets where life could be possible.

I had a doubt.

 

If the irth take place at the time of varza,durmohoorta,rahukala,; eventhough the vara thidhi, and nakshatra lagna are good, what is the impact of the above each item on the life of the native? Are there any remidies for them, if so when to perform them?

 

Can I have the reply with full particulars?

if var ,thithi ,naskatra and lagna is good and coming dasa s r good it supersedes other doshas .

then if transits also continously favrble frm birth the chart can b realy strong too ,other wise no chart is 100% good or 100% bad .

even the richest person in a country even tho owns cities but he may b living in rented place .for exmple --Late JRD Tata ( also he dont hav a biological kid )

Dear Raja Rao ji, 1) The first point to know is - There is no time (Muhurta) that is absolutely good or absolutely bad; every moment has some good indications as well as some bad indications. A good Muhurta is the moment of time with more good qualities (good future result indications) and less bad qualities (bad future result indications). This is the secret of Muhurta. The astrologer is trying to select a time with many auspicious qualities and only a few inauspicious qualities. A period of time with ONLY auspicious qualities is impossible and non-existent. 2) The second point to know is - Muhurta parameters had less importance only as compared to the planetary position as a whole. Muhurta parameters usually try to identify and judge the rhythm and quality of time within a day or so. Muhurta is like a small tide whose long term effort is not much. But it is not the same when we consider the Birth time and the planetary placement at that time. Muhurta when applied to BIRTH gains a special importance, which it generally does not have. This is a special case. But how ever, how much importance it may attain, don't forget that it is still a Muhurta quality and is much less important in comparison with the planetary positon present in Natal chart. 3) //> If the irth take place at the time of varza,durmohoorta,rahukala,; even though the vara thidhi, and nakshatra lagna are good, what is the impact of the above each item on the life of the native?? // As clearly understandable from the above clarification Vara, Dur Muhurta etc (Rahu kala is NOT applicable in birth, and is a concept that should be considered only while considering Travel Muhurta) will indicate their minor (because Muhurta is of less importance) bad results (it is time that give results and not the Muhurta); and the beneficial indicators mentioned here such as Nakshatra, Lagna etc will give the good results they indicate. [From a true astrological perspective even this statement is wrong. Because there is no Nakshatra, Lagna, Vara etc which are absolutely good or bad. If I am born in a Nakshatra that definitely indicate BOTH some good and some bad effects - there no 'absolutely good' Nakshatra]. If you want to know what are the results that are indicated by each Vara, Durmuhurta, Nakshatra, Lagna etc - then study the various astrological books (the possible results are elaborated in them). I am not here to write a book, just to answer you two line question. 4) //Are there any remedies for them, if so when to perform them?// Your birth is a problem without remedy. ;) Irreversible. So just not try for remedies - too much. :) Any way that was the fun part. :) From the serious astrological perspective - 3 types of results are indicated by planets. Dridha (Sure to Happen); Dridhadridha (May happen or may not); Adridha (Has very less chance to happen). Among these three - there is no use trying remedies for Dridha results, remedies will be useless. For Dridhadridha and Adridha you can try remedies and usually they will help. Again the question, 'what remedies?' cannot be answer in a line or two, depends on the your chart, birth Muhurta etc and cannot be answered in 2 lines. Just read the available astrological texts to have your answer (as usual my answer for such a vague question would be - I am not here to write a book for your single line question) Hope this helps.
