Guest guest
Dear Sunil ji, Namaste. As far as my knowledge goes, 'panoti' is generally refered to as a dosha or curse.. indicating restrictive pressures, usually used in relation to sade-sati, kantaka shani and other shani aspects.. The origins of this word is most probably from the Punjabi language. warmest regards Sheevani , " sunil nair " <astro_tellerkerala wrote: > > > > > hare rama krishna > > dear group and learned memebrs > > can u tell me what is panoti yoga ??is it sade sati or kantaka sani ( > daiyya) or waht is it ? > > This name frm which language ?? > > any information is highly appreciated > > > > regrds sunil nair > > om shreem mahalaxmai namah . >

Guest guest
Dear Sunil ji, What I understood (from the below write-up) was - Panoti Yoga is nothing but 2.5 day transit period of Moon within the 7.5 day transit period, over transit Saturn, and the results are derived are based on, where the Moon is located in the Natal chart. Some port the same concept to Natal chart and try to apply it there as well. I don't know to what extend, I am correct, and to what extend I am wrong. A net search provided the following url and info. Guest guest
Dear Sunilji, Sreenadh ji, Namaste.. I was aware that the period of sade-sati and also the dainya shani is further sub-divided into the elements of gold, silver, and iron but i have also come across copper or brass divisions too. Generally the paya (division) of silver and copper do not cause too much pain, just frustrations and delays, but the paya of gold and especially iron are termed as heavily inflicted, very restrictive and limiting .. I give some indications of the paya's below.. Gold Paya Your nerves are likely to be strung up during Golden Paya of Shani " s Panoti. You are gripped by fear and your confidence is usurped. The phase is nothing short of ill fate as you may be in financial crunch coupled with other difficulties. Unexpected expenses may keep you on edge. Household issues may be solved after lots of efforts and problems at office or in business may take a hell lot of time to get settled. All in all, the time is to test your endurance and patience,. Silver Paya This is a beneficial phase for you,. During this period, you may have success in your area of work. Your financial strength may also increase. You will be able to save considerable amount during this period as earning will be more than satisfactory. You must use this period to your benefit and try to amass or save as much wealth as you can. In short, this is a positive period in life offering mental satisfaction. Copper Paya During this period, you may face some hardships but will be able to achieve desired targets. In other words, you don't have to wait long for the results of your efforts. You may get incredible returns on your investment, . Good health is on the cards for you, and if you are confined to bed for any illness, you will be able to get up soon. Iron Paya You will come to know what worst Shani's Panoti can do for you, Even a little success can bring a broad smile on your face, because you had to put lot of efforts for that. You may feel that you were living in a state of inflation - a basketful of money brings a handful of commodity. Mental anguish just adds fuel to the fire. Financial losses are almost inevitable during this phase hence you are advised to play very smart with money matters. You may feel fatigue and your nerves may be stretched out of limits. In short, this period may be highly stressful physically, mentally and financially. These predictions are from www.askganesha.com and are just used as example of the various paya. Of Course this is only one aspect of the horoscope, other natal planets and dasha periods must be taken into account etc. warmest regards Sheevani , " Sreenadh " <sreesog wrote: > > Dear Sunil ji, > What I understood (from the below write-up) was - Panoti Yoga is > nothing but 2.5 day transit period of Moon within the 7.5 day transit > period, over transit Saturn, and the results are derived are based on, > where the Moon is located in the Natal chart. Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar ji, Namaste. Shani's transit in the houses, 3,6 and 11 H from natal moon is benefic, it gives malefic results in other houses, depending on the house concerned eg,, 7H sepation from partner and loss of business deals etc. Jupiter is benefic when it transits houses 2,5,7,9,11 from the natal moon.. warmest regards Sheevani , " Bhaskar " <rajiventerprises wrote: > > > Dear all, > Can anybody tell me in short through which houses does Saturn while > transiting from The Moon, give benefic results and through which houses > does it give malefic results ? Guest guest
Dear Sheevani ji, Namaste. Thanks. Exactly the answer we all know, is supposed to be. But the horizon which looks reachable across the seas, when one watches from the shore, and embarks on the journey , one will realise that actually there is no horizon and no meeting between the sky and the seas. There is no lagna actually. Even when one marries and one distributes the Lagna patrika for invitations, actually the meeting is not between two permanent subjects, but just two temporary bodies which have already been destined to the flames on a fixed date for almost all of us. The actual owners of these bodies would be having many such bodies in the past and in time to come and would be married to many other bodies in different births. THIS IS MAYA. What we percieve and know as the truth may not be the truth. This truth is eternally fluctuating in the worldly sense. It becomes better truth, when the envelope of Maya is disrobed gradually. Same with the principles of the dictums given in the texts. What appears to be, may not exactly be. Saturn I do not think will be malefic in 9 houses and benefic in the other 3. I do not think that it is so much evil. It will be either Malefic or just benefic depending on the individual and his chart. Again it will be either benefic in certain areas of ones Life, and malefic in the other areas, depending on the age, dasha running, and the new karmas indulged in by the native. Same for Jupiter. The key to transits is not just the planet moving through the 12 houses to become benefic or malefic, but there are other keys, which we have to search and tabulate. best wishes, Bhaskar. , "sheevani147" <sheevani147 wrote:>> Dear Bhaskar ji,> > Namaste.> > Shani's transit in the houses, 3,6 and 11 H from natal moon is > benefic, it gives malefic results in other houses, depending on the > house concerned eg,, 7H sepation from partner and loss of business > deals etc.> > Jupiter is benefic when it transits houses 2,5,7,9,11 from the natal > moon..> > warmest regards> Sheevani> > > , "Bhaskar" > rajiventerprises@ wrote:> >> > > > Dear all,> > Can anybody tell me in short through which houses does Saturn while> > transiting from The Moon, give benefic results and through which > houses> > does it give malefic results ? Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar ji and other members of this forum:This subject is very important to all students of Astrology. The 'Gochara effects' of transiting Planets is a very delicate and formative study to know the cause and effects. While in this, the source from where this question emanated is a great 'giant' in the subject!, and one has to be very careful in replying to him!! To put it in light humor, I consider him as not 'Bhaskaran', while he is a "boxer'-en to invite those who claim that they know Astrology !!! All in Best intentions!! This area was particularly of my interest. Slowly and steadily, yet cunningly, invited me to the 'ring', and I pray to all Gods around the ring to save me from a deep fall, as every Punch of him is well calculated and could damage the 'nerves' of the opponent. However, as a timid person in very old age, I will allow all the 'gold medalist' to enter the 'ring early' and watch their 'fate', before 'if at all necessary' I will go into 'ring' and collect my 'punches'! Everyone should take this as light as possible and laugh to heart's content! To Bhaksaran ji: I have regards to you in plenty. And this is meant to be taken as 'light' as possible, as we all walk in the 'light ' you always show to everyone in Hindu Astrology! My everlasting regards for you. Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar ji, Namaste.. I totally agree with you.. the houses ocupied by shani and jupiter(in transit) is only one piece of jigsaw of a bigger picture.. The rasi, quality and effect of nakshatras, placement of natal planets and their aspects to the house/planet concerned, their functional status, the dasha/bhukti running, vargas, strengths, etc all add to their colours/flavours. Besides the gochara effects are only transitional.. The natal chart holds the more complete picture.. warmest regards Sheevani , " Bhaskar " <rajiventerprises wrote: > > > Dear Sheevani ji, > > Namaste. > > Thanks. Guest guest
Dear Pathiji, and all, Your mail did make me laugh a lot, and also made me feel guilty for no fault of mines. I swear on the Gods I pray daily morning, that you were never there in my mind or thoughts even remotely, when I entered the thread. I still do not consider myself as an astrologer in the real sense, but just mention so on my website, because I am expected to do so. For me the definitions of a astrologer are beyond the reach of a common man, and I do not reach near to that I must say so humbly and truthfully. You treat me as one, is your greatness and my honour. I have seen your hard work in relating the results of Jupiters transits and appreciate the same. Transits or progressions are important, I have always felt, because they give us the answer to what will happen when. And I was never satisfied with what was written on face, in the books, because it never worked that way. The Natal chart shows the wealth ( Here - Wealth means the potency in all departments of ones Life) which a man can have , whether in his education, married Life, profession, or whatever, and the transits denote how they would come. I remember my Nakshatra Guru telling us students, that a person who knows how to use the transits to his advantage, is a real astrologer. I also remember him telling us that a astrologer who depends on his monthly income just from astrology is also not a real astrologer. He should know what are the good areas in his Horoscope and must take advantage through them. In other words, during a certain period what would bring advantage to him through which he can capitalise ? I am sure all will agree here, that the Raja Yoga is seen in the chart, the Dhan Yoga is see in the chart, the Vipareeta Yoga is seen in the chart, a birth of a child is seen in the chart, a job and marriage is seen in the chart, a marriage and a divorce within the same antardasha takes place, how to time these events is what makes one a good astrologer. Here most of us cannot even identify the events which may be expected to take place in a individual chart, what to speak of timing the same ? Once again I appreciate your handwork in posting the transit results of Jupiter. And once again I would say that I have yet to learn 95% of what any good astrologer must know. kind regards, Bhaskar. , venkatachala pathi <pathiav wrote:>> Dear Bhaskar ji and other members of this forum:> This subject is very important to all students of Astrology. Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar ji and other members of this forum, I am greatly relieved that I was not in list of Mr. Baskaran ji invitation to this 'ring'! However, I will put before all of you , in addition to the broad spectrum, Sm. Sheevani ji, -another learned exponent of Astrology in this forum-, had given in another Post, with what I practice after the strict coaching of my Guru, for many long years, in arriving results in a Natal Chart with 'Gochar' 'Palan's. He had given me some important preliminary rules before getting to the reading of horoscopes. 1. Assess the strength of each planet in the Natal chart. (There are many methods. Select one and practice it to perfection including 'ashtagavarga'). 2. Find the inter-relationship of each Planet strength in Birth chart with the positioning of the Planet in a Star Zone, in a Zodiac Zone, in the exact distance from the position of Lagna (time of birth), the Moon as well as SUN. (Take the help of all sub-charts including Navamsa). This could, more or less help you to find their inherent strength at the time of birth to be conferred on the Natal (as this is the strength at which the child become exposed to Solar rays - direct and refracted by other Planets and Rahu & Ketu - in various grades and density, to inherit attributed grade of 'Quality' to set the 'path' of life of the new born). This will differ from siblings, Parents and entire individuals of direct elders, as the new 'recipe' of 'quality' is added to the new born, due to birth of time and place, different to those in list. 3. Assess the eligibility of 'events' related to the age of the Natal and the Desas (any successful selection of various Desa principles in vogue and favored for practice by the Astrologer), for related question of the hour or period. Example: For marriage of a person take the related period in his age. Then reach all the given 'leads' recommended by our authoritative tutored documents, with valid reasons and inferences. "Gochara" supports demand for arriving at the precise 'combination' for the 'period in question' for given event: 4. Having reached point of confidence to go further start Gochara analysis of Planetary contributions on for the 'event'. 5. While in analyzing "Gochara" movement of Planets, do not take in to list of considerations, 'Drusti' in transit, as considered in assessing strength of Planet in a birth chart. Whereas, take into consideration the houses in transit. That is Jupiter has 5,7,9 House Drusti in a Natal chart. Jupiter in transit will not give this 'Drusti' to planets in transit to the 5th,7th, 9th house transiting Planets to improve their above assessed strength of the Planet as in Natal Birth Chart. However, Jupiter in transit from the postion of the MOON in the above said houses will give 'healthier' results from the above 'deducted' strength of the Planet in the natal chart. Similar movement of Planets related the Moon wholly have to be noted for further study. 6. All "Yoga's referred to in Birth Chart assessment of Planet combinations, will not be considered in the process of assessment of the performance of the Planets in "Gochara" analysis. 7. Now this has to be 'listed' for each Planet 'at the time taken to find a particular detail', to realize the 'positive' or 'negative' results for contribution. Some times, the Astrologer could arrive 'moderate results' in taking combinations and its cumulative strength. 8. For broader findings of 'Path' (Jothish) of an individual could be arrived at under various Astrological rules, most of the specific questions and timing of the events should be arrived at only after making the gradation of "Gochara" 'Palan's, in relation to the Desa findings in a Natal Chart, before answering the question. Of course. with this timing of the events would be easy. This is just a humble attempt to give the details of 'Gochara effects' in a natal chart. This will certainly guide one to find that Jupiter or Saturn or any other planet will give only good, bad or moderate results, irrespective of Sade Sati and other rules. And once again I would say that I have yet to learn 95% of what any good astrologer must know. kind regards, Bhaskar. ancient_indian_ astrology, venkatachala pathi <pathiav wrote:>> Dear Bhaskar ji and other members of this forum:> This subject is very important to all students of Astrology. Guest guest
Namaste,In North coastal Tamilnadu,India, the word "Panoti" is in useage, between two contending persons. Generally one person accuses the other as "Panoti" when the other person changes his stance often in a struggle for domination. Hence I presume that "Panoti yoga" denotes something inconsistant, but I do not know the etymology of the word "Panoti".--- On Mon, 11/3/08, sunil nair <astro_tellerkerala wrote:sunil nair <astro_tellerkerala Panoti yoga ?? Guest guest
Dear Nayanika, All good and bad things both have a time limit, and must end sooner or later. Presently your Love was bound to leave you, as both the 5th and the 8th house. After december 2008 I see you going out of your country ( Are you in Russia now ? Then it is coming back to India ) for good. I also see the happiness of family and marriage in your Life after December 2008. When you say that your husband has left you, then how this will happen I dont know. But next 4 years you will have a very good life in store for you, once you make that overseas journey which is appearing before my eyes, shortly. Probably he may come back to you. ( Cant say ). I cannot waste time on your husbands chart, if he has left you, so please excuse me here. I will not be able to answer any further queries now. bestwishes, Bhaskar. , val <galaxyandromeda22 wrote: > > Dear BhaskarjiI just wanted to know if you can cast a glance at what has befallen me now?I am really crestfallen and would like to know your opinion..please answer me when you check your mail, can you?My details are :Nayanika RomanyukTime of birth:  0748hrs, 22nd of September, 1948 Place of birth: Madras, Tamil NaduStar Bharani on the ascendant, Sign Libra in both Navamsha and the other chart...for both systemsVitaly RomanyukTime of birth 1438 [GMT+3 hrs], 7th October, 1959Place of birth: Moscow , Russian FederationI await your reply and your assessment of how I manage to get through this Bhaskarji.I still love him very much, he has spurned it and walked off with another woman, and he wanted me to divorce him I have done it because I wanted his happiness..and really love from countless times and the love is still there... Guest guest
hare ramakrishna dear Group and learned senior memebrs . I thanks every one who ever participated in this discussion .I dont want to use individual names as many many contributed in discussion . The moorthi Nirnaya or assigning the transits to gold /silver etc tho in oral traditions we find it in one classical tamil book called kumara swamiyam if my memory is correct . But i think some thing more to it to know esp sani"s transits as i heard it devides the transits in 12 ways ( like 12 rasies and 12 body parts ) then can identify which area in chart can be highlited during each transits and depnding on bhava Lords strnght of weakness the transit can b seen .For exmple if 5th Bhava or stomach area in imaginary human body is highlited we hav to see resuts of such transits along with 5th house indication ,so child .new jobs ,big position ,intelectual undertaking ,mantra sidhi etc depending on person and his back ground and dasa running at the time . i was stressing this because recently i heard a grp of ppl who calls them selves as scientists ( but never contributed in own field of profession nor made any good name ) is after astrologers and challenging them to proov astrology .And some test was conducted and they declared unilateraly as astrology and astrologers were frauds ,even they dont observe the real conditions applicable for such tests nor the participating hobbyists or student astrologers never botherd too see the suthenticity of such ppl too . it is like ur answer papers are being examined by vegetable vendors such trends coming more and they gleefully thinks that erosion in sanskrit knowldge and good gurus etc are boon in disguice for them .Because u can see they r eger to establish astrology is wrong and as if they r after some hidden agenda . even some hindu fanatics also fall for them who dont even knows the real history of our own culture . and calls for some sort of hitlerian type aryanisation in hindu dharma sastras and code of conduct which will back fire on them itself if we dig too much as many them r not pure in that sense of originality in race . but just wanted to open a can of worms without even properly understanding sanskrit or religious literature's pls dig more into this yoga ,i hope one of this days i can share some secrets to the grp .I heard first this yoga frm a andra astrologers written prediction but he dont ellaborated it so i was on assumption that it is some telugu or may v v old tamil ( dravida ) language Name for such yoga . i thank u all who participated in this discussion regrds sunil nair om shreem mahalaxmai namah . , KARUNAAKARAM RAAGHAVAM <munisevitham wrote:>> Namaste,> > In North coastal Tamilnadu,India, the word "Panoti" is in useage, between two contending persons.
