Guest guest
A matchstick, anyone can strike and light a fire. For few it takes just one matchstick to light a fire. For others it takes many sticks to do so. Bcause for one the flame goes off as soon as it is lit, and for the other it stays awake till the whole stick is burnt. The secret to lighting the fire with one stick lies in the way one holds the stick when the flame is lit. And agan, The same position which one uses in the morning may not be applicable in the evening when the wind is blowing in another direction. Same with astrology. To consistently predict good on a given scale, we need to make our basics strong. Once the basics are strong, one does not need help of much technical wizardry or lot of graphs, statistics and charts, to predict well. I stress on this point, because most of us get carried away in trying to make spectacular predictions, by using highly complicated explanations to support our statements, which in fact is not needed. Simple knowledge of how a planet works, it represents what, how it will behave in one sign , how it will behave in one house, the Guna, the tattwa, the Lordships, the understanding of the transit system, the nakshatras, their behaviours, their Lords, a knowledge on how to manually make a Birth Horoscope, this much is enough to make one a good astrologer, and one need not go into any complicated stuff for learning. Anybody who can write a page or a article of 100 Lines on how a particular planet will behave in a particular chart, sign and house,WITHOUT REFERRING TO ANY BOOK, has learnt his basics really well. The above is for the newcomers, and not for the stalwarts of this forum. This is applicable to me also. best wishes, Bhaskar.
