Guest guest
dear friends shri ak kaulji earlier rebutted the present calendar system which according to him is incorrect as he seemed like having done enough research on this subject and has historic evidences, dating of events and fixing the dates etc. one can understand and appreciate his new system just like a new ayanamsha. later he went on presenting astrology as a fraud and unheard in vedas. then he said some planets found mention in vedas and few other planets were not mentioned and were added by modern people later. when some members presented various ancient scriptural references of all planets and all 27 stars finding mention in vedas and puranas, he said that yes, planets and stars find mention in scriptures but not for predictive purposes. now some members presented references from proper four vedas what this planet in that star means etc., and kaulji started arguing that yes, all these planets and stars were mentioned in ancient scriptures but signs of zodiac like mesha etc., were never mentioned. let me state clearly that all nine planets, all 27 stars, all 12 zodiac signs find mention in all ancient scriptures. specifically, zodiac signs, which is the last missing item of kaulji in vedas, too finds mention in the puranas, samhitas and shastras written by the same sages. it is ignorant if one says that only four vedas are referral books and not the others like vedangas, puranas, samhitas, shastras, smritis etc. planets and stars are oft used by the natives even in the previous three yugas. here is one puranic reference of description of a night where the asura king durjaya visits and stays at the hermitage of sage gauramukha. after the sun as red as aruna, set behind the mountains, the night made its advent, adorned by the autumnal moon and the constellation of pleiades (krittika). the moon, the spouse of rohini, diffused its rays generating pleasure even to the sober people. next arose venus the preceptor of the demons, sukra, the son of bhrigu, the overlord of the daityas in company with saturn. he did not shine brilliantly since he had joined the opposite camp just as by nature the intellect of men does not shine if they associate with wrong side. mangala, the son of the earth, also rose and diffused its reddish glow, while rahu grew white by the white rays of the moon. the nature of the world is shunned by the gods and demons. over the belt of rays diffused by venus like the white path of sun, even the mightiest ketu cannot make darkness. at that time the activities of the wicked was also pure. the planet mercury, the son of the moon, endowed with high intellect, shone brightly radiating the world with its glory and moved for a long time in its own orbit. indeed such is the similarity that exists among the honest. soon after, ketu came up over the course of the moon and made the sky tawny for sometime. verily, a vile person does never perform his trickery in a clean manner before an assembly of virtuous persons. though the quarters were all brightened by the rays of the moon, yet the light was obstructed every time. Indeed, a righteous conduct is inherent in a noble descent. eminence of the great comes through the association with the noble. by the moon, son of varuna and aggravator of the three maladies, the rays of the sun were completely overpowered. verily, the injunctions of the Vedas can never be otherwise. dhruva, the polar star, who, in his infancy in the past, had propitiated the lord hari, did now make its appearance in the firmament in full glory singular by its association with hari. night befell in this way over the excellent hermitage of the sage. the above is how the night is described in all splendour of the planets, stars and the constellations. members may kindly note that once I too agreed with kaulji that in the previous yugas, there were sages who are all trikalajnanis who knew the past, present and future just by their vision and astrology for predictive purpose was not required for those elevated souls. in fact the wide usage of astrology is seen in kaliyuga due to the sages falling into minority and rare to find. hence my request to kaulji is that he shall desist from passing an authoritative comment that vedas and puranas do not mention first planets, then stars and now signs, for we all knew numerous instances of these finding mention right from the four Vedas. based on the constitutional provisions and rights of this land, if believers of astrology learn astrology and solicit consultation, advises and remedies based on planetary influences, why kjaulji shall strive to waste his time on proving these beliefs wrong. belief in any system or siddhanta is a matter of personal freedom, choice and right of any individual and no individual (including kaulji) can invade on the freedom of individuals to follow what they believe. with best wishes and blessings pandit arjun
Guest guest
Dear all, I have had few exchanges with Kaulji and his few friends from various ids (???) supporting him. Unfortunately none of them can face a direct challenge which has been given to them so many times by me. I have already proved ( In this same forum ) about the existence of the Nodes and quoted from few scriptures the Chapter and shloka number which mention that the Rahu and Ketu were known to our ancients. This fellow then changed his stance that yes they are there, but........... Previous to this he was never accepting the nodes as existing in the Veda-Puranas. I can also prove to him with the proper shloka about the division of the sky in 12 partitions, which this man says was not known to us. Every argument of his can be negated. But why must we waste our time on such people ? Are we getting some prizes for trying to make the disbelievers into believers ? Missionaries get monet for degrading Indian Gods, indin customs, indian beliefs, and for their efforts in converting people to their fold . But who gives us money for the time spent in teaching such people that what you are doing is nonsense? I have also asked Kaulji that if you think the ayanamsha etc. we use is wrong, then pray tell us which ayanamsha is right ? And How would you calculate the right ayanamsha , and prove the same is right by applying the same in various charts,to provide the indications of the events which have taken place in the chart owners Life. Plus other queries which I have put, none of them have elicited any reply till date. I was also banned from his Forum without any notice or warning which clearly proves that he does not like smarter people around. Such people are like those who use big names and subjects, to gain name and fame, which they achieve to derive from attacking such subjects like astrology and its practitioners. then there is another comedian who also bashes astrology and astrologers to earn name, fame and money. he has also written a book about the futility of astrology and astrologers. He needs a special write up which i will put up some other day. But whatever it is, such people are not having anything worthwhile in their own kitties, so they look at others who are better and superior to them, and then start bashing them. They are actually like termites and eating those wooden surfaces who gives them a base to stand. We must not waste time on such bigots, and neither give them undue publicity. regards, Bhaskar. , " panditarjun2004 " <panditarjun2004 wrote: > > dear friends > > shri ak kaulji earlier rebutted the present calendar system which > according to him is incorrect as he seemed like having done enough > research on this subject and has historic evidences, dating of events > and fixing the dates etc. one can understand and appreciate his new > system just like a new ayanamsha. > > later he went on presenting astrology as a fraud and unheard in > vedas. > > then he said some planets found mention in vedas and few other > planets were not mentioned and were added by modern people later. > > when some members presented various ancient scriptural references of > all planets and all 27 stars finding mention in vedas and puranas, he > said that yes, planets and stars find mention in scriptures but not > for predictive purposes. > > now some members presented references from proper four vedas what > this planet in that star means etc., and kaulji started arguing that > yes, all these planets and stars were mentioned in ancient scriptures > but signs of zodiac like mesha etc., were never mentioned. > > let me state clearly that all nine planets, all 27 stars, all 12 > zodiac signs find mention in all ancient scriptures. specifically, > zodiac signs, which is the last missing item of kaulji in vedas, too > finds mention in the puranas, samhitas and shastras written by the > same sages. > > it is ignorant if one says that only four vedas are referral books > and not the others like vedangas, puranas, samhitas, shastras, > smritis etc. > > planets and stars are oft used by the natives even in the previous > three yugas. here is one puranic reference of description of a night > where the asura king durjaya visits and stays at the hermitage of > sage gauramukha. > > after the sun as red as aruna, set behind the mountains, the night > made its advent, adorned by the autumnal moon and the constellation > of pleiades (krittika). the moon, the spouse of rohini, diffused its > rays generating pleasure even to the sober people. next arose venus > the preceptor of the demons, sukra, the son of bhrigu, the overlord > of the daityas in company with saturn. he did not shine brilliantly > since he had joined the opposite camp just as by nature the intellect > of men does not shine if they associate with wrong side. mangala, > the son of the earth, also rose and diffused its reddish glow, while > rahu grew white by the white rays of the moon. the nature of the > world is shunned by the gods and demons. over the belt of rays > diffused by venus like the white path of sun, even the mightiest ketu > cannot make darkness. at that time the activities of the wicked was > also pure. the planet mercury, the son of the moon, endowed with > high intellect, shone brightly radiating the world with its glory and > moved for a long time in its own orbit. indeed such is the > similarity that exists among the honest. soon after, ketu came up > over the course of the moon and made the sky tawny for sometime. > verily, a vile person does never perform his trickery in a clean > manner before an assembly of virtuous persons. though the quarters > were all brightened by the rays of the moon, yet the light was > obstructed every time.
