The following lines are not my own contribution but picked up from a pundit ( Pundit Vishwanath Deva Sharma )in Calcutta in 1984. But theymay contain my interpolations. Shukra versus Brihaspati Kamana ( Desire ) and acharana ( Action ) stand side by side. Shukra expresses energy of the soul.Brihaspati works towards reformation,purification and mutations within. Shukra gives tendency towards enjoyments and ultimately effecting sufferance , then repentance, then attainment of purity by controlloing the senses or when such pleasures become uninteresting.Brihaspati gives tendency towards wisdom. Shukra leads to action.Brihaspati leads to wisdom. Shukra approaches salvation through physical and material things.Brihaspati approaches through gnana and meditation. In Shukra finer philosphical matters have expressions through thematerial things,In Brihaspati material things are expressed in subtler aspects. Shukra views things as they appear before the eyes.Brihaspati views things through feelings. Shukra draws pleasure by creating a sweet atmosphere around it.Brihaspati draws pleasure through speechless meditations. Before Shukra, the entire nature as it appears through the senses, is the absolute truth. By pen, literature, verses and romances it is affectionate,emotional, and passionate. Through music, art, actions, shyness, it appeals to the senses, it arouses the senses. At times it looks absurd to see you comments alone always at the end of the mail. Due to out of the trend behavior - 1) It becomes difficult for the common user who is familiar with reading the mails from bottom to top and expecting the latest comment at the top of the mail to see you comments at first glance. 2) It become difficult for moderators to edit the mail, when they want to remove the unnecessary trailing mails. 3) Since you follow the system of putting your comment at the end of the mail, and others the system of putting comments at the beginning of the mails, in no time, (after 2-3 mails itself) it becomes a "Kichedi" (a mix of everything) and it becomes very difficult to identify where the mail starts and where it ends. Since you are the lone person in this group who put comments at the end of the mail always, would not be right for you to change this behavior than expecting all others (more than 2500 in number) to change their behavior? The credit goes to the contributions from many learned members in the forum. I will try and collate this information with examples we have discussed and upload it in a file. In the meantime, while the gurus are blessing us, let the flow of knowledge and learning continue. Bhaskar ji, I take this opportunity say to you humbly, that you are being too modest and we all know about your knowledge and understanding in astrology and I am sure the group always looks forward to your valuable inputs. As for me, I am a learner, a student only and imbibe a lot from the posts be you, Sunil ji, Sreenadh ji, Pandit ji and many other learned and experienced members. I have a very limited experience, having taken only a step on this road and have miles to go… sharing thoughts in this forum has been a very positive way to move ahead on this path. These charts I have collected from the book " Dundubhi Bajat Nand Ke Dhware " written by Lt.Sh.Amolakji,Published by 'Prashad Prkashan " ,Marwar Junction(Rajasthan). Sh.Amolakji have written 10 books on his experience of Indian astrology.He was so knowledgeable and practical astrologer.He have given only chart of these saint so I have used it in the reference of Jupiter-Venus topic.I find these saint are having the same combination along with relation Saturn.For further comments of you all learned astrologers,I am looking forward. It seems like many years since we stopped discussing, like in JR. Though I was never interested in medical astrology and a hypochondriac by nature, I will attempt your observations asked for, in short. The sign Virgo rules over this disease. The 6th and the 8th house must come in play whenever this disease is present. But there is a misconception generally, that only Venus or Jupiter could cause this disease. It has to be caused due to contributory factors of The Sun, The Moon, Venus, Jupiter and Saturn. Sun and Moon stands for vital fluids in body and stomach. Jupiter stands for fat, Liver, thirst etc. Venus stands for secretion , glands and sweet elements.pancreas. Mercury is the Lord of the sign Virgo. The 8th house denotes the voluntary process of urine from bladder to urethra.Saturn stands for chronic, and also secret ( Many peole do not even know they have diabetes until they go for a check up ) The combinations can be many and none for this disease. It may need a individual perspective approach to find the connections in a chart to determine whether one can have this disease. I was thinking about precisely this when this combination was being discussed & was going to tell the getleman who had asked for a reading on his same combi but was politely refused by SS ji. Maybe we should look at the organ producing insulin. But if all digestive juices are under 1 category, then we should look at Guru. But it has been my limited experiece that the presence of Sukra in 6th, 12 th etc leads to urinary & diabetic complications. And in astrology, Jupiter stands for fats. So it enters the picture in this manner. Venus also stands for secretions, and lack of excersise. Due to Glycosuria ( Increased sugar content in blood ),the normal utilisation of carbohydrates is impaired. Glycosuria I he chief symptom for this disease. The disease will be associated with, excessive thirst, polyuria, hunger, with marked loss of weight. Jupiter rules over Pancreas, the Liver, and Carbohydrates. Since these are badly affected in those with this disease, Jupiter is reckoned to get involved in finding the cause of this disease in Astrology. Cause of end of a person could also be related to allied implications of Cardiovascular and Renal problems. So Diabetes is traced to Zodiac House 'Cancer' on first line of contention. Diabetes is called ’Madumeha’ in Sanskrit. I am not a medical astrologer, and this branch is seperate like Muhurtha and Mundane. Already i am a professional astrologer and also do some charts free daily ( 3-5 ) and all these people are suffering from some problem or another, so i dont want to burden myself further with medical cases unless its a emergency, and if i can help. . By the end of the day one gets bogged down mentally with problems of the people whose charts come to you for readings. But i like to discuss everyday astrology, which is relaxation. Rest all, gets on the nerves. Guest guest Posted October 27, 2008 Report Share Posted October 27, 2008 Dear Gopuji, Please accept my apologize that I have included in that statement of " Kidney producing insulin " .You are right Insulin is produces by pancreas.I will take this opportunity to correct my statement,Insulin is produced by Beta cells of Pancreas not by Mast cells(As I have stated in my mail). Just for further information I would like to describe you all about these two glands(Kidney & Pancreas)of our body,which will be helpful to predict the causes of disease. Pancreas :-A large elongated,racemose gland lying transversely behind the stomach,between the spleen and duodenum.Its external secretion contains digestive enzymes.One internal secretion,Insulin,is " produced by the beta cells " and another,glucagon,is produces by alpha cells. Kidney :-either of the two organs in the lumber region that " filter the blood " ,excreting the end-products of body metabolism in the form of urine,and regulating the concentration of hydrogen,sodium,potassium,phosphate,and other ions in the extracellular fluid. So kidney is not involve to cause diabetes.If person have diabetes than all organs will be effected and Kidney also which resulting excess excreting Ketone,Uria etc;.renal function will effected which causes further complications. I hope it will be helpful in future to analyse any chart of diabetic or Kidney effected person.
