Here Lot of controversy was going on regrding the origin of lal kitab .

I hav one book which is titled as Lal kitab astrology -back ground and exposition by pt .Krishan ashant ( gifted by sreenadh ji because of his anger with me as i think i giv him some K P reader books so may b retaliated in same way )And the book is translated by R S chillar ( this is the name sri Bhaskaran ji of our group was mentioning as good lal kitab pundit )

This book has given the root questions and doubts abt Lal kitab very logical way .

it is adressing following questions and covered all areas almost .

1) what is the origin of lal kitab astrology

2)what is logic behind its strange remedies

3)why the signs of zodiac has not given importance

4)why the name of the author is not mentioned

5)secrets of principles and logic behind it

This book is based on all books published in the name of lal kitab frm 1939 to 1952 ,it i written taking into account all 5 books ( rather volumes ) and combining the subjuct matter in a harmonious way where as many books in market and circulation is based on one of the volumes generaly .

This the author has done a lecture also in 1997 in indian council of astrological sciences delhi chapter also abt Lal kitab and its origins .

so book deals with various misconceptions abt lal kitab ( some says devine origin ,some says heavenly direction ,some says some spirit enetered in body of original author ,some says it is arbic or urdu text ,some says it is prevalent among arabs etc etc )

so he says "In reality ,the principles of lal kitab as a system of astrology were preavalentin the hilly tracts frm himachal pradesh to kashmir .The author was employed in the area and happened to come across many scripts during the service of his tenure there .In future ,if we go to interior of those areas in search of astrological knowledge .we may able to trace the roots of the 'Lal Kitab' system of astrological prediction there "
