Dear Neelam ji, Bhaskar ji

Three editions namely 1939, 1940 and 1941 have already been

transcribed in Hindi most authentically. These editions are already

available in the market.

There are two more editions left i.e. 1942 and the 1952 editions.

The 1942 transcripted edition in Hindi is already completed by a

team of shri Umesh sharma and Vashishtha [ he translated the 1952

edition in english ] and is likely to hit the book stalls in a

couple of months.

The 1952 hindi transcription is already under way by shri Goswamy [

he and vashishtha did the english translation of the same ] and

might be available in a few months time.

Transcription of these books is a commercial venture and is already

under way. Therefore let us wait for the transcripted 1942 and 1952

editions.

Sincerely,

S P Khurana

Dear Khuranaji,

I am confused and perplexed. If only one person has written Lal kitab,

then why are there so many editions ?

Who wrote originally the 1939, 1940, 1941, 1942, and 1952 editions, are

why are they different ? Did the origina writer write all these at

seperate times ? Or is there many meanings to one editions ?

Whichoneis authentic and arethe others authentic or not ?

Please enlighten me about this.

thanks, and regards,

Bhaskar.

Dear Bhaskar ji,

They are five different books. Instead of calling them by their

names people call them by the year of their publications. For

example the 1939 book is named as ' samudrik ki lal kitab ke farman'

or the 1940 book is named 'samudrik ki lal kitab ke arman', the 1941

book is named 'Lal kitab teesara hissa'and so on.

Instead of taking these lengnthy names it is easier to call them

1939 or 39 edition or lalkitab 39 and so on.

Sincerely,

S P Khurana
