Guest guest
Dear Sreenadh, dear All, //There is an astrological principle that states that there would be AT LEAST 6 minutes between 2 births, even in the case of twins - what is your opinion?// I didn't knew about the astrological principle, but from clinical statistics they say the usual time between 1 births in the case of twins is around10 minutes, 7 minutes is also acceptable but very rare below 7 minutes. It is logical , thinking how much time needs the uterus muscles to relax after first effort for birth and to contract again for the second one. In case of Cesarean surgery , the time estimated between births of the twins is 1 min or more. //Is it possible to have Siamese Twins of same sex. If astrology is right, it would be an impossibility especially if the BT is the same - do you have a comment?// It is possible to have Siamese Twins of the same sex, not many of the cases are viable but it can happen. I don't know exactly what to say now about the same BT for the Siamese (or so called conjoint) twins and logical thinking one has to be the first somehow. I will do some researches and will come back to reply with more details in this issue. I have no idea what Astrology says on this issue, please if possible give us some details. //Questions: 1) If these two astrological concepts are true, then why is it so? Does it point to the fact that astrology somehow depicts reality in a better unique way? 2) If these two astrological concepts are wrong, then is it right to stress too much on the validity of astrology?// I can not say if these two concepts are right or wrong , especially i can not have a right opinion until you give us the references i was talking about above, but what can i say and not in a philosophical manner , is that anything is perfect and everything can be improved []...( i can say usually i am a perfectionist nature, but i am aware to attain perfection is something that we are not able to do yet. So i think this discussion can be continued, and the topic of twins from astrology point of view is one less known. Guest guest
Dear Liana ji, I am much thankful to the info you shared â€" that was much informative. //I can not say if these two concepts are right or wrong , especially ican not have a right opinion until you give us the references i wastalking about above// There is a concept known as 'Kunda Multiplication Method' used by Indian astrologers. This system is well described in many ancient texts like Prasnamarga. This system suggests that, the BT difference between twin births would be 6 minutes AT LEAST. This was one of my references. Indian astrolgy tells us that the sex of the native can be identified based on Natal chart alone. There are numerous quotes available in various texts such as Brihat Jataka, Jataka Parijata, Phala deepika etc which provides us guidance on 'How to determine sex of the native based on natal horoscope'. From this it is evident that, births of individuals with different sex CANNOT happen at the same time. Or in other words it is impossible to have Siamese Twins of same sex, especially if their BT are the same. Both those statements are well founded on Ancient Indian Astrological tradition and texts. I was curious to know the medical/scientific as well as western astrological perspective regarding the same - And thus the question. Hope this clarifies. Please continue to share information regarding ancient western astrological system - that will certainly help us to compare the 2 systems - i.e. Ancient Indian and Ancient Western.
