Namaste,

All horoscopes are casted on the strength of time indicated by available clock

time on the eve of ones birth / event.

In addition to the above, multi various Astrological siddhanta / principle

parameters adopted by different Astrological groups.

Further Astrologers' capacity to recollect what they have read and learnt are

also vary from individuals to individual.

All the above factors play a pivotal role in predictions;it is quite natural no

universal true congruent predictions are possible.

Therefore Astrologers resort to adjustment in birth time to suit their

conveniences, which they term it as rectification of birth time.

Sir,

Adjustment/ rectification of time is necessary for an astrologer to reach

accurate conclusion, in case of a adult.   In many occasions, the astrologers

are blamed for predictions, for happenings beyond the suggested dates.  For

instant, when I predict that marriage is to happen on a given date, and it is

delayed the client would come back to me and say that the marriage is delayed.

Now with computer calculations, it is easy to rectify the time factor in the

data given and go with the details further by an astrologer.  To believe this or

not is always an individual preference.  But it is now essential for Astrologers

to be (near) correct in their predictions.

No two watches are correct at a selected time.  This will be same in any

hospital or public place also.  It is necessary for all to know how the birth

time is decided to cast a horoscope.  There was a discussion to decide the birth

time.   The doctors say the 'cry' of the child is the time of birth of

that child.  The astrologers say the exposure of any part of the body from the

womb to the Solar rays is the birth time.  These are arguments discussed on and

on for years and ages.

The birth time could be decided with one or two instances happened in an adult

life.  That is, with data's given to astrologer, he finds that the boy will

marry say 11 August 2006. But the marriage takes place for him in 26 January

2007.  The difference in time of marriage could be related to the Desa, Bukti,

Anthara combinations with which he decided to fore-tell the marriage date and

the time  the actual marriage took place.  This will help him to decide the

correct time.

However, it is always a trend to disbelieve a method and, in the event of wrong

deduction, the astrologers are said to be naive in the subject, though they had

spent decades in perfecting their knowledge in the science.  It is easy to

criticize, while astrologers neglect those and strive to reach perfection. No

one would like to be listed as 'incompetent' in any field he enters.  But the

taste of pudding is in eating, is not it!
