Dear Members,

This thread is started on the request of Mr. Vicara { Vicar - a status

title attributed to a high dignitary !! - Humor....so cannot

ignore....else would be banished -.....humor}.

This questions often comes for all those into astrology, same time

births.....yet different destiny... In my personal view there are many

reasons....some of sharing .....

1) Every individual is part of " Desh, Kaal, Patra " { Country, Time,

Society}

Example: In case of Lord Buddha, he was predicted to be King of Kings,

as the story goes, Can be a Conqueror or a Spiritual leader..... he

turned out to be a spiritual leader i.e. saint of immense of

respect...see his aura in his face....such a serenity....

2) I have a case where a person was born similar time almost alongside -

a ex-King of Kashmir. Both grown up and are in old age. Both are

leaders in the respect of their family or social back ground.

Difference, being born in Royal family..... the raise or honor was more

in comparison to this ordinary social background.

3) The basic promise in the parents chart itself is another

differentiating factor.

4) Earlier in this column, I have referred a case where a parent with

Madhya - Ayu { Madhya - Middle - Ayu=Longevity}, had planned children to

give him more life....i.e. all of his two children have exalted Sun, the

last had exalted 9HL. This parent is now into old age.....

There are many sub-issues which for reasons of brevity, keeping it

aside.

Would continue this later.....for I need to attend a work now.....

With regards,

HAHAHAHAHAHA! Please DON'T call me a Vicar! it's a christian word and

i have an evil, twisted place of reflecive aversion in my heart for

anything related to Christianity! hahahaha.

You are admitting that there are non-astrological factors contributing

to a person's life experience? That desh, kaal and patra are

influential on a person as well as surya, chandra, and lagna? That

" nurture " is of comparable importance with " nature " ?

Personally I like that idea. But I want to clarify if that's what you

are saying.

I was reading " A Practical Guide to Hindu Astrology " by Raj K. Chadha

that a certain number of Mool-Trikon planets can make you a king IF

you have a kshatriya birth, but that one or two more mool-trikon

planets can make you a king regardless.

This also seems to support that desh, kaal, patra need to be

considered alongside the grahas.

For twins this would not be an issue.

That sounds asuric to me.

Now let me bring some new ideas, or new phrasing, to this discussion:

The question is posed: " you have two identical twins born at the same

time in the same place to the same parent. their lives are not

identical. therefore Astrology must be bogus. "

The answer is given:

First of all identical twins are NOT born at the exact same time. They

are usually a few minutes apart. Nor is it really common AT ALL for

two children of the same gender to be born at the SAME MINUTE in the

same building.

The question underestimates the accuracy of Vedic Astrology. A

difference of just a minute or two of birth changes the divisional

charts significantly and can even change the lagna and house positions

very significantly.

Thus you have situations where some twins or some people born at the

same time lead quite different lives.

In other situations (when we are not near the cusp of sadhi of the

lagna, for example) the difference of a few minutes in the same

location of birth does not create large differences in the final

horoscopes. Thus you have other situations where some twins lead

nearly the same lives.

On top of that, we have to admit that human beings are not robots.

Human beings have freewill, and this freewill is " aspected " or

influenced by considerations relating to the historical era they live

in, the country and culture they experience, and the type of people

they hang out with. Freewill provides for an unpredictable level of

variance in one's life experience. And can looked at in cases where

nearly identical births cause very different life experiences not

warranted by the difference in birth time.
