" All this does not matter to a person with a open justice minded

view. " Very true

There can be as many perspectives as 6708700100 (world population).

But there can be only and only one truth and by considering ourselves

as part of a religion or community, we will never be able to see what

is there but will see only what we want to see.

Dear jayaji,

// But there can be only and only one truth and by considering ourselvesas part of a religion or community, we will never be able to see whatis there but will see only what we want to see. //

No harm in that. One should be proud to consider oneself as part of a religion or community. I am sure You would consider yourself as part of this community 'Ancient indian astrology ' I cannot consider myself to be a part of others like the ' AID Communities' or the Gays communities ' How can I be a part of my neighbours family ? How can I consider their father as my father or the neighbours wife as mines ?

So theres no harm if we we see what we want to see. We cannot blame the movie goers for the movies they want to see. Or the persons sitting in the Bars in the evening and seeing happiness in their glasses.

Its their Life, and they may be right from their point of view and perspective. I am no one to judge them.

We cannot judge what makes the robber rob. We have to go and sit in his position and maybe realise that few opf them maybe helpless and have no recourse to their next meals. Which of course does not mean that their actions are endorsed. It is a question of not judging or passing sentences.

I would certainly like to see what I want to see and not Bhuta, pisacha and goblins in my dreams which are also a part of this world. So the community where I live in, a God fearing community, of Pooja pathis, satsangis, etc, makes me feel proud to be a part of them , and always keeps me secured and comfortable.

Do not want to be in a no mans land.

best wishes,

Bhaskar.

Postscript - we have to be in this world without being in it. We have to be in our own communities with access to all other communities. We have to be active in our own community and also have knowledge of what is hapenning in other communities etc. BBC, CNN, gives us access to the communities around the world. Our own indain news channels gives us access to knowledge about the hapennings in india. The relgious channels GOD etc. give us access to other satsangas of the Christianity community. So on and so forth . translate this into tangible physical Life, when we go for a walk and meet our friemds from the neighbourung colonies who tell us what new shop has opened near the lane they live in. But i will stay still, in my own building, own flat and use my own Bathroom, and not stay on the road. So talking is seperate and practising is seperate. One cannot discommunicate from his community and religion, and be happy or satisfied. Its not easy.

Dear Bhaskarji:

What I wrote had nothing to do with human behavior.

I was talking about Science or History, the truth in it and the need

to look at it with an independent mind.

Referring to the distortion of history. I am at a different time

zone, cannot write a deatiled reply. But when I have free time, I

will write what I meant by mail with relevent examples.

I have no difference in opinion about what you have written at all.

Dear jayaji,

I think I understood now what you tried to put forth. yes, hostory has

certainly to be viewed from a third mans point of view, otherwise we

would see only what we want to see and not the truth.

i believ that.

Dear Sreenadhji and Bhaskarji:

I wished to but could not write the details of what I referred

about " the truth " . For exapmple, Max Muller, who was one of many

Christian missionaries to India and was committed to

the Biblical lineage. According to his biblical belief date of

creation given in the Bible at 4004 BC and the great flood at 1500

BC. This belief in his religion or faith made him to date the Rig Veda

much later in time than an impartial scientist would have done in

order to fit the entire Vedic tradition into a time-frame following

the great flood, which Biblical scholars held took place in 1500 BC.

This is a distortion from the truth. Now the information is open to

all and none can hide it for the sake of any centrisms.

I had posted one article from Science magazine showing the evidence

that Saraswathi-Indus is as or more ancient than Mesopotomian and

Egyptian. Moreover, had better quality life, with the finding of

well planned city with irrigation system and oven baked brick

buildings and so on as early as 9000 BC, only figures found were

Shiva in yogic posture (Pasupati),. Which further confirms the

existance of Yoga during that time, don't know whether they were

called Hindus, but Hindu must have originated from there only.

Dear Sreenadh ji,

Sorry ...I got late to reply.

I, without any second thoughts agree with you regarding what you

have written about religions. That is why I always say that Buddhism

is not a religion. It is a philosophy which can be understood only

through wisdom. That is why no one can force anyone to become a

Buddhist. Everything in Buddhism revolves around one's MIND. Just

because one is born to Buddhist parents or just because one fills in

some data form against'Religion' - 'Buddhist'..one doesn't become a

Buddhist.

blessings

Renu
