Dear Learned Members,

For the past few days we have been facing some arguments with

ayanamsha, number of days to follow for dasa, & another aspect being

which Dasa to follow. I am proposing an exercise, which is a bit

different; in this case, I will give the birth details with the date

& description of the event. All you have to come up with replicable

techniques.

Details of the native:-

Date of Birth- April 11, 1981.

Time of Birth- 15:32 hrs

Place of Birth- Calcutta.

Sex- Female

--------------------

Event that occured-

During 2005-2006 she got married, & prior to marriage she got a good

job.

Use the ayanamsha that you follow or believe in. However, do mention

the ayanamsha & justify the reason for the event ***with proper

technical analysis***.

I hope to good replies & responses from the group members.

Thank you,

Dear Gaurav,

Had a few questions before I attempted.

1) Did the native have a love marriage?

2) If so, did the affair start sometime in 2004 during Sat-Rah-Moon?

3) Did the native leave India after marriage?

4) Is her husband an NRI?

5) Did she get a job in Sat-Jup-Jup?

Thanks

Dear Gaurav ji, Please don't provide vague info and confuse others. Provide the date of marriage and date on which the native joined the job. Here accuracy is important since we are verifying the accuracy of some thing.Regards,Sreenadh , "" <gaurav.ghosh wrote:>> ||Jai Ramakrishna||> Dear Learned Members,> For the past few days we have been facing some arguments with > ayanamsha, number of days to follow for dasa, & another aspect being > which Dasa to follow. Dear Gaurav ji, As per L+46 with 360 days Savana year, the marriage took place at - Sa-Ju-Me-Mo-Ve-Sa; Where Sa(7th lord), Ju (8th lord placed in 2nd), Me (2nd and 11th lord placed in 8th), Mo (Planet placed in 11th), Ve (Significator of marriage) and thus the event is justified. The following points can be derived from this data - * It must be a love marriage happend on face of many obstuctions (Clear from the involvement of 5th lord, Sa and Sun the lagna lord in 8th placed along with debilitated 2nd lord mercury) Please confirm or negate.Love and regards,Sreenadh , "" <gaurav.ghosh wrote:>> ||Jai Ramakrishna||> Dear Shree Sreenadhji,> The native got married on Aug, 10, 2005. Dear friends,

How best is the example to adjudge the ayanamsa issue? It is easy to derive a logic now in postmortem. My approach to the problem is different.

My thinking is whether I could have predicted the marriage of the native in Aug 2005 and around had the native been approaching me?

1. I will be open to many doubts about the native because of the 2 - 8 cluster of planets.

2. Period as I see will be Sani_Rahu bhukti, Rahu is in the house of Moon and Moon is in 11th. My predictions would have been

(a) a shift of place

(b) an engagement which may or may not lead to marriage.

© If I am able to know from her that she is qualified and trying for a job, I would have suggested the possibility of income as Moon the dispositor is in 11th. And I would have added that her job will have something to do with overseas, may be export and import co or something like that associated to 12th house. Rahu in Kataka can give jobs related to shipping...

Marriage on 10 Aug falls on Sat_Rahu_Moon: Can be justified in postmortem. But I may not have predicted it as the chart is bit complicated.

Job she has in Sat_Rahu_Venus, I may have pointed out the time as Venus is 10th lord and exalted.

Chitra & Mula conflict, Rahu bhukti versus Guru bhukti, which is more appropriate to have job and get married?

I don't think that here there is any clear picture that advocates Muladharam.

In analyzing the evidence and drawing conclusions we must be very careful. We should not be drawn into some conclusion or argument just because we identify ourselves with a particular option.

Dear Shree Sreenadhji,

It was an arranged marriage, so the question of obstruction doesn't

appear.I will confirm my thoughts once I receive a good amount of

response.

Dear members:

I personally think that the Ayanamsa (AY) issue can be statistically settled if

we follow the universally accepted procedure.

We need to assemble a random sample of horoscopes (sample size to be determined)

with a verifiable event date, like marriage. Check this with the different AYs.

The AY(s) which fit will be checked and a final tally be made.Under this

criteria, we would know which AY is accurate within +/- statistical error. The

one with the lowest error will be the one that should be accepted. The sample

has to clearly random. If we do this, we can go from the sample to the

population.

As it is, astrology is poked and laughed at every place. Now, if we do not

settle this issue amongst ourselves, we cannot blame folks who have a belly full

laugh

at our expense.

Dear Mr. Vijay,

Interpretation  of Varga charts and Dasa results are interdependent on each

other ,

and  Ayanamsa value will effect both.

When 16 Varga System is adopted as taught by BPHS, each sign is divided in 150

parts,

largest part is of 30 min. and smallest part is 1min. 40 sec.

Dear Goelji,

" Ayanamsa value will effect both "

---Thats obvious, but I feel interpretation of varga charts is a lot faster than

timing events, atleast for me who is comfortable with vargas rather than timing

of marriages/events, etc.

Vijay.
