Guest guest
Dear Renu ji, Are you interested in the proposed DOB of Buddha as given by Chandra hari? I hope that he may provide the basic logical arguments based on which he arrived at this date. The date could be right or wrong - but as astro students, it is interesting bit of info, many in this group might be interested in. I request Chandra hari ji to provide more info about this. Guest guest
Jup 02:24 Venus 00:07 Sat 25:50 Rahu 22:18 Sun 36:03 Merc 57:44 Dasa at birth 14.5 years of Sani Lag Mars 109:20 Moon 216:30 Sikhi Planets for 22 April 564 BC, 12 Noon. Lagna is taken as Kataka, not computed. Ref is a book, Historical Buddha, Wayman is the author as I remember. I have changed the year by 1 as the planetary positions of the year and Vaisakha full moon did not match with Gautama's life. But the year before Vaisakha full moon gives these positions which I think matches with a King who renounced his Kingdom and Son. Then regaining his son for Sangha, King of King of all Sadhus. Man who began the missionary movement. See this chart. 1. 1st and 5th lords are in exchange 2. 10th lord is debiliated 3. 7th lords are debiliated from Lagna and Moon. Is he a King? Is he a beggar? Is he a family man? Is he a Siddha? With 14.5 years of Sani dasa at birth, He had Budha ended in 32nd year. Ketu began. What would have happened? 32 – 39 Ketu 39 – 59 Venus 59 – 65, Sun 65-75 Moon 75 – 82 Mars , "Sreenadh" <sreesog wrote:>> > Dear Renu ji,> Are you interested in the proposed DOB of Buddha as given by Chandra> hari? Guest guest
Dear Sreenadh ji & Chandra Hari ji, Thanks for Buddha's horoscope as per Chandra Hari Ji, Buddha's renunciation took place at the age of 29 years, on the day his son Rahula was born. He got married at 16 years. He attained Buddhahood at 39 and passed away at 80 years. His mother died 7 days after his birth. May I ask why his Mars is debilitated? He was more than good enough to be a Chakravarti, it is said. He won his princely bride by defeating all other contenders in all shilpas, which he excelled by age 16 and there was none comaparable to him. Of course he chose the non violent and compassionate path to win the world and not armoury. Will debilitated Moon give rise to noble and compassionate thoughts? 7L from Moon is Venus as per this chart, and it is not debilitated here. How can one explain the eternal fame and love embraced by Buddha? Kindly explain this with reference to any chart since I would like to learn the astro 'logic' behind everlasting fame aquired by a person. He was none of the things you mentioned but a human being with unlimited compassion and love for all living beings. I am not saying this chart is wrong, Chandra Hari ji, but please explain...thanks. blessings Renu , " chandra_hari18 " <chandra_hari18 wrote: Jup 02:24 > > Venus 00:07 > > Sat 25:50 > > Rahu 22:18 > > Sun 36:03 > > Merc 57:44 > > > > > > Dasa at birth > > > > 14.5 years of Sani > > Lag > > Mars > > 109:20 > Moon > > 216:30 > > Sikhi > Planets for 22 April 564 BC, 12 Noon. Guest guest
Dear member, This is another source: http://srath.com/?blog=1 & page=1 & paged=2 From the webpage: --------- Gautam Buddha the founder of Buddhism was born on April 14, -622 (623 BC) in the proleptic Julian calendar which translates to April 6, 623 BC in the proleptic Gregorian calendar. The source of the chart and the correction applied is also given. ---------- This chart is based on data given in Dr.B.V.Raman's book - Notable Horoscopes, and using the JHora software, it is wrong as the date was chaturdasi and not purnima. We cannot use the full Moon of Vaisakh in that year without shifting the Sun into Taurus with lahiri ayanamsa. There is a cluster of 5 planets in the 10H. Thanks Souvik , " renunw " <renunw wrote: > > > Dear Sreenadh ji & Chandra Hari ji, > > Thanks for Buddha's horoscope as per Chandra Hari Ji, > > Buddha's renunciation took place at the age of 29 years, on the day his > son Rahula was born.
