Guest guest
Dear Members:. If I may, let me start this game. I have taken liberty in choosing the Asc also. For a capricorn ASc, would like saturn to be at Li 19 deg 55 in Swati Nak, 4 pada. LL and 2L will be exhalted and in the 10th and friendly house.Swati Nak Lord is Rahu who is also a co-compadre of saturn. It will also be in Puskara Nav ending up in Pisces NAV.If I do not have a choice in Asc, then my preference for saturn would be Aq,1 NAV.Regards, anantha krishnansreeram srinivas <sreeram64 wrote: Dear member, Let us start a new thread on this. Guest guest
Dear Viswanat ji, I agree to your point, here the thread is only to stimulate given a chance of choosing your own hororscope, even then - there is NOTHING like a ideal hororscope and every combination has its " pound of negatives " inherent.... Guest guest
Dear Srinivas ji, Namaste, That's very tricky!! For this we need to outsmart Brahmaji. Brahmaji will say, take Shani Dev wherever you want as long as you abide by the rule of the srishti... you have to suffer or enjoy your karmas… Like the proverbial Savitri…we'll be stuck…what to do then? How'll the desired placement help us? We can't do everything with Shani maharaj alone. And what if he comes to stay in the house desired by us but there are other forces (planets) out on war with him? If we get him to be a yogkarak and brahma ji does not bless his dasha at the right time? My lagna or moon may be weak / afflicted to let me enjoy the fruits…and then the age, if age is not on my side, what will shani maharaj do? Brahmaji!!! Help… so many ifs and buts… I'd rather leave this privilege with Brahma ji and let him place Shani Maharaj anywhere he likes, but will ask him to give me a meaningful life with good karmas and strength to suffer previous karmas. Regards Neelam
Guest guest
Dear Mr. Viswanat ji, 1) This is the only group which takes astrology seriously { can add another group also but for lack of leadership/guiding role there}....see the archives.....it is all knowledge only 2) Knowing Left & Righ hander is surely a idle and meaningless exercise that people have been participating, in which you were also interested and shared a bit in that topic, but there these observations are NOT mentioned..... either afraid of that " lunatic guru " there or some self interest there ?? .... anyway still not much time lost, to post your observations even now.....should it be case of over sight... 3) Probably, you were not aware why this thread started by me, for to bring a realization amongst the members, that there is NO ideal hororscope. Watch this thread... you may likely change opinion. 4) Can you analyse why Mr. Raj Upadrashta ji's preference to Saturn & Mars in 10H for Cancer Lagna, should make him a Leader of Soldiers ?? Why Not Leader of Masses ?? Is it possbile for a Cancer sign to think on those lines ?? Would wait for your astro_comments......on the above..... Guest guest
Sir I agree with the point that "left handed native" is a miscellaneous item. But even in the horoscope chart given by me has got left handed people and they are justified. But the rule specified is not sufficient enough to justify it. Merely saying 3rd lord in 10th does not constitute left handedness. But it will work in some cases and not in all cases. Why? Let us expore it. My view point is only about subject and its high level, and definitely not aimed at an individual. If the forum has to grow in quality and not in quantity, it should be captained by a senior person and who should control everyone, lead every one, participate and encourage research work. Many points brought out by many did not have any follow up, and those points disappeared into thin air. If the objective of the forum is to educate members and promote astrology, one should be constructive. In the subject brought out by your esteemed side, let me make my humble opinion that there cannot be any ideal horoscope. Every action has got its equal and opposite reaction. Every positive house has got a negative house. Mere placement of Saturn in 4th (as our friend Mr. Nair says) or merely Jupiter in 10th exalted does not make a horscope elited. See the chart of Tagore. Asc lord exalted in 5th house in Cancer. 5th lord Moon (putra sthana athipathi) in Asc aspected by exalted Jupiter (putra karaka). This is called rashi parivartana maha bhagya yoga. Then why he lost all the children before him. Some attribute it to "karako bhava nashya". Is this point correct? Definitely not. If one succeeds in one side, he fails in another. Merely throwing questions or merely crticising is just simple. But we need positive, sincere and broad minded approach to promote astrology. Let us drive ourselves into these type of intricacies and try to understand it, rather than working on fantacies. I think we should ask all our rishis and sages this question of WHY they have not included it....... Guest guest
Dear Viswanath ji, May be you are wrong. :=) It is the people who look in to the subjuct (and their innovative vision) more important than the subject itself. Even in trash you can find pearls (useful and innovative info) if one is enough intelligent and innovative. Actually if Srinivas ji or any other member in this group has any such thing to share why should we show the sour face in the beginning itself? Note: If not to search and prepare new wine from the old stuff known as ancient astrology - why we are here?!! So the total exercise is clearly in tune with the aim of the group. It is platform where people share their vision and learn to defend and corroborate their logical arguments with supportive evidence (thus learning to be research minded); Yes, this IS the path! Take any subject (how ever irrelevant and small), but if someone can present new and innovative understanding about the same based on old info; if someone can breach the horizons of "normal thinking" based on old info - definitely this is what required and we are in search of such talents. Hope you see the point. :)Love and regards,Sreenadh , MK Viswanat <astrologervishy_nair wrote:>> Pranam Saab> > Thanks for your mail and understand your wisdom along the lines of your mail.> One thing we should understand is that we should try to learn astrology in the forum and not to try to bring about foolish and funny issues which does not serve any purpose for astro-fraternity.> > I, with all the politeness and humblessness at my command, as an astro-student, treat these messages are like FTP (full time pass).> > If one is sincere, let him share his astro experience and try to help the forum members. Guest guest
Dear Srinivas ji, Let us avoid the 'other group' bashing and 'lunatic' bashing; it does not deserve it. Since we in this group has more worthy things to do - let us keep our mind clean, dedicated to the subject under discussion; providing value addition. Should we go for a discussion of such other groups and lunatics when we have other things to do? Apart from the fact that the said lunatic tried to spam this group several times (and got banned as a result) - why should we be concerned about things happening outside this group at all? Hope you see the point - such an exercise is not worth our time and effort. Guest guest
Dear Mr. Sreenivas Ji:The best place for a planet to be in its own house, next best choice would be its exhalted place (if different) and the last best choice would be in a friendly house.Saturn in Aq is least disadvantageous under different ASc scenarios without considering, aspects from other planets. e.g. Aries Asc, it will be 10 and 11th Lord in the 11th house- both are OK. For Ta ASc, it will be 9 and 10th in the 10th-that is fine too. So on and so forth. So once decided on the rasi, I thought I would go for 1 Nav so that saturn will be exhalted in NAV.Regards,Anantha Krishnansreeram srinivas <sreeram64 wrote: Dear Mr. Anantha Krishnan ji, //If I do not have a choice in Asc, then my preference for saturn would be Aq,1 NAV// Sreeram Comment: To your saturn, I would put 8HL Mars with it to upset your Saturn !! Guest guest
Dear friends, Looking at the best place of planets in terms of own house and exaltation may not be the right approach. Planets need not be in own house or exaltation, to give best results. Rasi is a 30 degree classification and there can be potential degrees for planets about which we don't know. But we know that planets in houses other than own and exalt gives wonderful results in many cases. chandra hari , Anantha Krishnan <anantha_krishnan_98 wrote: > > Dear Mr. Sreenivas Ji: > The best place for a planet to be in its own house, next best choice would be its exhalted place (if different) and the last best choice would be in a friendly house. > Saturn in Aq is least disadvantageous under different ASc scenarios without considering, aspects from other planets. e.g. Aries Asc, it will be 10 and 11th Lord in the 11th house- both are OK.
