Dear friend,

I could never successfully predict anything and so I am skeptical of others claims who make only successful predictions. You can see some websites going on discussing the correct predictions and never a wrong prediction is discussed.

Criticism is condemned only in the Bible of sycophants.

Coming to Sreeram's view that the birth data is not reliable: We need some deliberation here.

1. Can a great astrologer know before predicting that the birth data is correct or not?

2. When an astrologer knows that the birth data is wrong, why he predicts?

3. Mushraf's photo and his army career are evident to all. His life details and attitudes are also known. But still even the greatest of astrologers cannot be sure of his birth time?

There are have many new theories of combining Dasa-bhukti_antara-sookshma etc coupled with transits, rasi, nakshatra and yogini dasa combined and Vargas.... all this fail to draw some precise conclusion on the birth chart of a great figure like Perves Mushraf?

Does it not become evident that the prediction itself is a hit and miss phenomenon? We remembers all that hit and forget those words which miss...?

My aim was not to criticise anyone. I wanted to bring out the weakness of astrology and we human beings. I could not and even the greatest astrologer under discussion could not correctly interpret my own chart. There are certain things happening beyond astrology. Mystery of life cannot be fully understood by astrology.

No compulsion is there on astrologers to predict when they cannot make themselves sure that the chart reprsents the individual in question. If we are to take garbbage data and make predictions like 'this will be correct if data is correct' what is the use of Guru mantra and the blessings received from numerous Yogis?

An astrologer is supposed to predict as 'this.... will be correct if data is correct' ?

What for Prasna and Nimitta are prescribed in literature?

chandra hari
