Narasimha is from Masulipatnam, Andhra Pradesh, his father was also a known astrologer in that area, though he learnt few lessons from SJC School, but moved quite ahead and has & maintains strong interpretation differences with his own jyotish guru i.e. Sanjay Rath. Special Note for Mr. Pashu Sanjeev :- Your early observations, on me fail here....i.e. I am open to every school and vocal about all negatives with logics in public. Rao" <pvr wrote: Hare Rama Krishna Namaste friends,Jagannatha Hora 7.1 is ready for downloading. This is the latest version. It has some bug-fixes and improvements from the previous version 7.03. The important ones are given below: (1) Jagannatha Hora now works on Windows Vista. Earlier, it would work on Vista, but the preferences could not be saved. The problem is fixed now. (2) US changed daylight saving time definition from 2007. The previous version of JHora did not have the correct definition. So standard time would be incorrectly used instead of daylight saving time for some charts in March, the first few days of April and the last few days of October. This is fixed in version 7.1 and daylight saving time will be correctly calculated for 2007 and later years. (3) Drigdasa of Parasara as explained in my Jyotish Digest article is included. You can still use the drigdasa variation taught by some SJC gurus (including me) in the last 10 years. However, I strongly recommend using Parasara's drigdasa. (4) Some more options are added in ayanamsa. Specifically, you can use a variation of Chitrapaksha ayanamsa (aka Lahiri ayanamsa) that uses the mean Sun-earth plane for projecting planetary positions, instead of the normal oscillating Sun-earth plane. While we are fixing the starting point of the zodiac in each ayanamsa, the plane of the zodiac itself is oscillating in the regular ayanamsa implementations. But the plane is also fixed in this variation. Look for "Vishnunabhi plane (Chitrapaksha)" under the ayanamsa options. Irecommend that. It makes hardly any difference for natal charts (even in divisional charts), but makes a difference in the divisional charts of Tithi Pravesha charts. (5) Some overlapping text in Kalachakra dasa and Tribhagi Vimsottari dasa in the printouts is fixed. Guest guest
Dear Mr. Viswanat MK ji, 1) Kindly stand corrected that we promote knowledge NOT products 2) This group is for the traditional astrology as the main focus, which is sufficiently mentioned on the group's home page 3) We are NOT conversant with KP System, { which your emagazine promotes or focusses} hence, avoid discussion on the same, except for certain broad differences that it may have with other traditiona systems, which may possibly run into few emails maximum 4) We have promoted the Saptarishi e-magazine, which has NO advts unlike your e-magazine 5) We have only given introductory email, on Saptarishi e-magazine, with NO explicit or implicit support - just an introduction - you are requested to go through the message again. 6) So long a tool can aid an astro_discussion { refer Point 1 to 5 above}, with NO commercial or advts., we are open. Trust your - asked or unasked queries are responded in this email i.e. your request for one line, we have replied more than you could ask for, it is possible that you might have grudge against us, for not allowing your emagazine which is KP System centric, on which we have clarified earlier. Guest guest
Dear Mr. Viswant MK ji, Probably, you might have forgotten that we wanted to promote your emagazine, as a good initiative & goodwill gesture, irrespective of it being a totally different system or school of thought, when it was first issue was released, however, your response on it was so short sighted i.e. you almost accused and just short of threatening for having uploaded it in our file section. It is on your instructions that we removed it, ...... and continue to follow your own standing instructions there on to " remove any traces of your emagazine " in this group. Refer my offline communication to you on the same, still you were unrelenting then. You now seems to develop some after thoughts now for unknown reasons. So whatever you sow, you reap goes the saying. I thought, it is good to refresh some recent memories in mutual interest !! and hence this rejoinder to my previous mail.
