Guest guest
Dear members, Yes, we do have many cases, where we have larger than life images in public. Sri K.N. Rao is no exception, though he happens to my jyotish guru and respect him. BVB started on a good note, under aegis of ICAS, later branched out probably the differences with Sri B. V. Raman then lead to this. BVB had some excellent astro_teachers, who for unkown personal reasons, ventured outside like Dr. Charak, Vinay Gupta, Rajiv Jhanjhi..etc.. Had they all stayed & gel together, it would have been a nuclear institution for astrology. BVB has contributed more, { not gauging the true worth in this discussion} than any astrology school/college, the core flavor has been lost in due course of time. Probably, the raise of educated astros, with greater grasping & reasoning power, has alarmed those in this subject industry, plus a generous share of people, who tend to show dis-respect or superiority, once they achieve certain amounts of public fame. Archarya Rajneesh has founded an institution, {irrespective of one's acceptance of his knowledge}, that got into dis-repute during his own lifetime, for his disciples behavior...etc.. The latest news article on Nobel Lauerate Naipul's confession in his biography, that he mental torturing has killed his wife. All this indicates, strong tendencies of certain varying darker shades in each one's life. Example: Pandit Nehru & Shelley who died of syphillis, Mahatma Gandhi, Dancer Uday Shankar & Sitarist Pandit Ravi Shankar, Kishore Kumar,...etc.. list is endless. Probably, majority of Indians { i.e. Indian institutions funded & backed by Congress party} penchat to live with the brighter shades of an personality, any idealist wanting to get to real truths is consistently discouraged in his pursuit with raising levels of hurdles, deliberately put, least it may harm their public image. In this days of globalization, even the researches are carried out to suit & promote business - that Coffee kills, Tea saves, Cigarette Tobacco kills, but not Ghutka,....etc.. Astrology is NO exception to this, with all school of thoughts are able to come out tons of research articles to drive their points of observations. On hinder note, think it is natural for everyone to entertain certain levels of eccentricity as seen life's of many respected names, few within limits, others crossing border lines.....etc., for it may be more to expect from humans!! Hence, it is necessary that each subject be studied with original text always on table side i.e. astro_classics, so that you derive your own points, which may be better than those in use.
