Dear Eliwlsn,

Thaere is always a way out of most apocalypses.

1. The food shortage can be lightened by increasing vegeterian diet as 1 mt of meat is made after the dead animal has consumed 7mt of grains and other material. --- but knowing humans, they will probably derive a policy of culling animals in large numbers thereby endangering entire species and spoiling the eco-balance further.

2. The 1 in 50/100 year events are happening slightly faster - 1 in 7/8 years. Witness droughts & floods in Australia, the current floods in US, ditto last years heavy snowfall and also in China, Europe ..........

If only Humans can discover how to do an endothermic reactions, that too using effluents discharged due to our affluent living, we can solve the problem of global warming/pollution due to our overuse of exothermic reactions based on fossil fuels.------ but knowing humans they will probably lisence it at a huge cost so as to make it unaffordable for the poor people and poor mother earth.

3. Please wait for more droughts before complainig. Should happen around the time Saturn enters Libra according to Indian astrology around - 3/4 years time.
