Dear Sreeram ji,

Many a time you have said that afflictions to 5H may lead to

problems in childbirth, conception etc. in a woman. I think you are

familiar with the following chart, July 9th, 1983 @ 10.27 PM in

Colombo, Sri Lanka. She is not married yet, but have menstrual

problems now itself. The doctor had said that there is a hormone

imbalance in her system and she may have problems in conceiving too.

She has 5 palnets in 5H including 5HL Mercury in Jupiter's

nakshastra. Retrograde Jupiter- natural putrakaraka aspects her 5H.

Her Jaimini PK is also Jupiter. She will be married most probable in

Saturn's dasha. Though Sa has no relationship to her 5H directly,

Jupiter is in Saturn's nakshastra. Since she has many planets in 5H

I suppose she will be fortunate enough to become a mother.

My question is how can this hormone imbalance be explained from her

planetary configuration in 5H?

Dear Renu ji,....My question is how can this hormone imbalance be explained from her planetary configuration in 5H?Let me try to analyse the situation.

I guess you get the answer when:You take 5H as ascendant. This has to be done as there are 3 conditions as per classics:1) There are many planets and maximum no. of planets in 5H, that makes it very strong.

2) The 5H is also the moon sign3) It is also the sun sign and becomes importance for health-related issuesIf you see from gemini as ascendant:Saturn is 8L and afflicts 5H and libra by placement, 7H by aspect, 11 and aries by aspect, also 2H and cancer by aspect

Jupiter is not a benefic for gemini, and it is retrograding in 6H in scorpio. Thus afflicting the water tatwa. As a mark in 6H aspecting, 2H and 12Hvenus herself is not comfortable in leo and her signs are both afflicted and dispositor afflicted in lagna.

In the navamsha, taurus rises with venus is in lagna with D-1 LL mercury, maintain aspect by mars, saturn, and jupiter.In shashtamsha, saturn debilitates in 8H with r/k, aspects moon-mer again in gemini and malefics flank venus in taurus, with Jupiter still maintaining the sambandh.

See Jupiter is inimical in vargas -- rashi, navamsh, shatamshWhen moon & mars both are afflicted, there are menstrual problems (seen in manifestation), depending upon the severity of affliction. Thanks so much for your analysis taking 5HL as lagna, which never came

into my dull head. This is the advantage of discussing astrological

issues with learned members:)

So it is quite clear that her 5H taken either way, i.e. as Aquarius

lagna or as Gemini lagna....is afflicted.

aunt also taking care of her, or grand mother. some motherly association

apart from biological mother "

My answer is 'no' to the above question. Her mother had been & is with

her always and the mother and daughter are the best of friends. But

kindly tell me..why you asked such a question? What astrological

principle indicates duality in her life? ....I cannot think of any

dualities as such....Yet I will surely pass the good news .... " she may

Dear Renuji,This bit about two mothers is a Saravali dictum, which says that a person having moon in gemini will have two mothers.I have seen it hold good many cases. In one case the girl went to stay with her grandmother, in another one after school she went abroad and stayed with her aunt for a long time....

Since gemini is a dual sign and moon is for mother, I guess it makes sense. I extended it further and asked you about duality as she has many planets in gemini including the luminaries, thus making gemini an important sign for her.

with sun in gemini, could see if there is any other father-like figure apart from her father...you know the extensions...Since gemini happens to be the 5H and 5L mercury is also there, I extended it to a probability of having twins. Some other parameters of having twins are also applicable here.

Dear Neelam ji,

First of all let me say sorry to you regarding the girl's horoscope and dualities in her life..

I contacted her mother and confirms your findings. Yes, this girl, is very attached to her grand mother. When she was small she would not allow grandma to leave her etc.etc.

When it came to her shcooling at 5+, she had got admission to 2 very good & popular schools, when mostly others would have to fight with the support of bogus documents to get a good school.

It is kind of she would not stick to her first selection. Even when it came to her university education, first she was studying in California and then half way [as she missed her boy friend] she came to Sri Lanka and joined a private university here to complete her major. She changed her major..half way.

She has had 2 serious relationships with and both ended, not due to her fault. In fact she is keen to ger married but with all her beauty,brains and money...she has not found the right partner. Mother is worried that she would have two marriages....since she [mother] says that life has been a duality so far....Congratulations on your analysis!!!

I know another boy born a few hours after that girl, but Aries langna, Moon in Gemini. He is more attached to his grand mother. He lived with his grandma for a long time.

So your anaysis holds good

Dear Renu ji,Thanks for your feedback. I have seen this in many cases...Another point I would like to tell you, while on 83-84 natives is the affliction to libra. For a long time you get mars with saturn.

Though saturn is exalted, most of them are also doing well, but I have generally seen:These natives have gone away from their birth places for study etc. in their early years.The girls are generally facing problems related to reproductive system...disturbances in the menstrual cycle (as in this present case), cysts in uterus (one girl already had a surgery to remove the cyst), other problems...etc.

They are likely to marry a person with a more than normal age difference. (one of the girls recently got married, her husband is 5 years elder to her (saturn), but looks young like a school boy (mars)...keep and eye and please keep me posted...

Namaste Neelam ji,

That is a very good observation of the people born in 83/84 years..

My oldest daughter is born in 1984,, she had spent the last 5years

away from home for studies (same country- different city) but she

also spent 4 months in germany and 4 months in New york during this

period as part of her studies..

She also has sun, mer and shani in her 5H libra..jupiter mars in 7H,

so lets see what happens hormones wise.. currently no problems.

Regarding marriage... we will have to wait and see..

I am inspired to ask you some details of your research.

How many horoscopes of 83-84, male and female did you study in reaching the conclusions you have given?

How much of your assessment is data based and how much is your generalization based on single case?

How do you say that 5 years is more than normal age difference?

They are likely to marry a person with a more than normal agedifference. (one of the girls recently got married, her husband is 5 years elder to her (saturn), but looks young like a school boy (mars)

When Saturn afflicts Mars, age will be more or appearance will be more aged? I hope you understand the difference?

If Mars represents boyish looks, what will be the effect of Saturn on Mars? Will he look "aged" or his age will be more?

Dear Sir,First let me tell you that this is not a(my) research. These are just a few observations regarding some well-known classical principles. I have just applied to the 83-84 horoscopes since some of us share a soft corner for these kids. I don't need any sample size to exemplify an already known dictum.

The afflictions are being caused by saturn-mars in libra. Saturn being exalted, becomes strong to give its results and take charge of a native's destiny more than any other planet. (often we see a strongest planet becoming the driving force for a native).

The principles that I have used are:Saturn in 7H takes a native away from home --- in fact the classics say that he is a wanderer. Here saturn remains in libra which is a natural 7H.Saturn in 7H gives an older spouse.

Mars in 7H gives a young looking spouse.Saturn-mars afflicting libra, and if it happens to be the 7H also will surely give problems in reproductive system. And we also know that Jupiter at that time was not casting its benefic dristi on the combination.

We've always known these principles and in a simple manner, I had observed their working in some charts. Regarding the questions:...When Saturn afflicts Mars, age will be more or appearance will be more aged? I hope you understand the difference?

Why

should we forget that before afflicting each other, they are also two

separate entities tenanting the 7H where they'll give results according

to their karkatwas.

The conjunction's affliction could also seen through their affect on natural zodiac, Aries-scorpio-capri-aqua (1-8-10-11)

I was simply talking about the result of these two planets in libra and in 7H of this particular native...not trying to propound any theory...

And moreover, we all know that the results depend upon a multitude of factors seen in the entire horoscope and any generalisation cannot and will not work.

The examples only serve as diagnostic tools for learners like us, so that we may synthesise of results appropriately while reading a chart.Regardsneelam

I agree with you and I have come across the given combination in quite a number of horoscopes. To name a few,

Aquarius lagna girl born in 84= Sa + Ma in 9H Libra

Virgo lagna boy born in 84 = Sa + Ma in 2H Libra

Saggitarius lagna 2 boys born in 84 = Sa + Ma in 11H Libra

Pisces lagna boy born in 84 = Sa + Ma in 8H Libra

But tell me why would Mars + Saturn in Libra would 'ship' the children abroad for studies?

Dear Renu ji,Thanks for confirming the results.The real culprit appears to be saturn in Libra. Though mars seems to have played its role depending on its lordship.Saturn in Libra in natural seventh house, exalted, gives its full support for westwards travel. Saravali also says that a person with saturn in libra will earn money and honours in foreign lands. In 83-84 borns, the aspect of Jupiter is missing, rather saturn aspects Jupiter, thus having its way.

In your first case of aquarius lagna, the girl would work and earn abroad as:Saturn as LL and 12L in 9H will give long journeys, which a person will undertake with his own efforts for work (mars with saturn as 3L and 10L).

Since saturn and mars form a Rajyog in 9H, and this saturn aspects 2L and 11L jupiter in 11th house, the native will get good money and position abroad. Rest will depend on the dasha sequence.regardsneelam
