Guest guest
I am Khoo Hock Leong and I am from Singapore. Unlike Chinese speaking countries, in Singapore because we are English speaking, the Chinese adopts English names that sound Chinese. Of course we also have Christian names like Harry, Michael etc. I prefer to call by my non-Christian name so call me Hock Leong. Currently I am a financial planner and doing my part time in Masters of Computing (Computer Science) in the National University of Singapore. I relax by reading and surfing web sites on Vedic Astrology (and thinking of them too even when I am about to go to sleep). But so far I have not gone down to the Divisional Charts under than the Navamsa. Other than Vedic, my other hobbies include Computer Science (naturally), reading Business Administration subjects, and Arts and Humanities subjects including Philosophy, Geography, History, International Relations etc. I love Western Classical Music and love the American Movies especially Hollywood. I have yet to go into Mathematics - I have bought a set of them and stashed it away for reading in the future. But somehow or other, Vedic is my first thought when I want to relax. I used to be interested in Tropical Astrology but have gradually weaned away from it and got into Vedic. But traces of Tropical Astrology which I find it the truth (not just useful - that has never been my criterion) I still retain in my mind. For an introduction of how I got into Astrology please see all the previous postings related to this current posting (the thread). Refer to Message 8099 and 8100. Cheers , " sunil nair " <astro_tellerkerala wrote: > > > > > Hare rama krishna > > dear Hockleongk ji > > > > Pls introduce urself ,the name ,country and other some details which > ever u feel comfortable > > > > its for our conveneince ,we know with who we interacting .hope u will > understand . > > > > also i welcomes u to our grp and we can discuss various points and rules > ,on the basis of lite of astrology . > > > > regrds sunil nair > > om shreem mahalaxmai namah. >

Guest guest
Namaste Hock Leong, Apa Khabar? Nice to know you are from Singapore.. It is unusual for a Chinese to take such interest in vedic astrology and you are most welcomed. In Penang, there is a large group of Chinese who are devout followers of Shree Ganeshji.(Hindu god of auspiciousness) memories of the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, with lots of Chinese sweetmeats as prasad linger fondly in my thoughts.. Real lotus flowers are offered to Ganeshji on that day.. One thing that can be said,, Chinese dont do things by halves,, only the best is good enough, and no expense is spared on celebrating Ganesh chaturthi.. Hingga berjumpa lagi.. take care Regards Sheevani , " hockleongk " <hockleongk wrote: > > I am Khoo Hock Leong and I am from Singapore.
