Guest guest
First the rulership. Vedic astrologers have different opinions on the rulership of Rahu and Ketu. I would say Rahu rules Taurus and Virgo and Ketu rules Scorpio and Pisces. Why? Rahu deals with materialism, determination, inflation of desires etc. (all attributes related to Taurus). It also deals with hardware, technology etc (all attributes related to Virgo). Ketu deals with anger, cleansing, psychology etc. (all attributes related to Scorpio). It also deals with languages, philosophy, religion, dissolution etc. (all attributes related to Pisces). In terms of exaltation, Rahu exalts in Taurus and Ketu exalts in Scorpio. Rahu's materialism is stronger in Taurus than in Virgo and its determination leaps in bounds as well. Ketu is more at home in Scorpio with the sign's secretiveness and trying to play 'detective'. Rahu has an affinity with Gemini because of Gemini rules the lower mind - the mind needed to gain materialism. Ketu has an affinity with Saggittarius because of the sign's linkage with religion and philosophy. All other signs associated with Rahu and Ketu by other astrologers I have not had any observable evidence except that Rahu seems to be toned down in a more mellowed manner in Caner. It makes the person patriotic. But when Rahu is in Cancer, Ketu is in Capticorn. Ketu in this sign makes the person liable to fall from government because of fraud or cheating. What about aspects? Although Rahu behaves like Saturn in that it is dry, but its aspect is not the same as the Saturnian's aspect (those astrolgers who think they are the same are mistaken). In fact other than the usual aspects like 180 degrees (100%), 90 degrees (75%) and 270 degrees (75%) it also takes on the trinal aspects like Jupiter (100%) and surprisingly the 330 degrees aspect (ie. the 12th House to the House where Rahu is situated). Same with Ketu. So for example, if one has Rahu in the 1st House, both the trinal houses effects impinges on the 1st House giving the person full of integrity, religiousness and intelligence (all 9th and 5th House matters). In addition, the person is also spiritual and ascetic because the 12rh House effect also impinges on the 1st House.

Guest guest
Manoj When the astrological community first discussed about the rulerships of Rahu and Ketu, they assign Rahu to Aquarius and because Ketu's rulership is opposite Rahu they assign it to Leo (but this is a fallacy - see my point on the different effects when Rahu is in Cancer and Ketu in Capricorn : they give good and bad effects respectively). The reason why they assign Rahu to Aquarius is because Rahu was seen to have some characteristics of Saturn like being dry and both loves science and technology. But I have not seen any significant effects of Rahu in Aquarius or Ketu in Leo and have no chance of observing of anyone born with that placements. So I can't comment. Mabye you can observe someone with that placements and come to your own conclusion. , MANOJ KAR <manoj_kar7 wrote: > > Sir, > > What are the effect- > 1.when Rahu is in the house of aquirus & ketu in the house of leo. > 2.When Rahu is the house of gemini & ketu in the house of sagitarius. > > Pl discuss. > > regards > Manoj kar > > hockleongk <hockleongk wrote: > First the rulership. > > Vedic astrologers have different opinions on the rulership of Rahu and > Ketu. Guest guest
Manoj When Rahu is in Gemini, the person is intelligent and forward looking. Ketu in Saggittarius, the person is intuitive and he is good with languages. In general this placement softens the unpleasant effects of Rahu and Ketu - hence the affinity of these signs with Rahu and Ketu although they do not rule the signs nor are they exalted in them. By the way Rahu is exalted in 20 degrees Taurus and Ketu is exalted in 20 degrees Scorpio. , MANOJ KAR <manoj_kar7 wrote: > > Sir, > > What are the effect- > 1.when Rahu is in the house of aquirus & ketu in the house of leo.
