Guest guest
Dear Chandrahari ji, I find that the origin of many great scholars such as - Nrisimha (author of Jataka saradeepa), Dundi Raja (son of Nrisimha and author of Jatakabharana), Ganesha, Divakara and many more - can be traced to a single family (with many great scholars taking birth in that family) that resided in Partha city and the near by Golagrama (which is said to be at the western part of Partha city) in Maharashtra, near the banks of Godavari. Some scholars says that it is the place called Pathari in Maharashta. This familty is said to have gave birth to many astronomers and astrologers - and the city itself seems to have something to do with astronomical observation facilities as the word Golagrama (Village of Astronomical observations) suggests. This place and city seems to have been famous especially during 14th to 17th century. Can you shed some light into this - I hope that the word Golagrama would be familiar to you - and therefore this question. Love and regards, Sreenadh
