Guest guest Posted November 28, 2007 Report Share Posted November 28, 2007 It is a good invitation.....I myself cannot make, but can suggest Sreenadh to attend this, for he has published a book on this subject in malayam, some time back.....good if he attends it by finding time.......it is a privelege to witness such events....{ a welcome deviation from Nach Baliyes... & Song based Idols....in the media...} it is an excellent practise of Ashtamangala Devaprasna, which seems loosing its shine...happy to see its revival...... I am planning a Kerala visit due to some other reason, and if due to coincidence if the dates matches I would be lucky to attend the same. But Madhu ji, I heared that there was another devaprasna in Guruvayur in the recent past as well. What caused this urgent Devaprasna again? Yes, I am missing the interaction with great and knowledgeable astrologers of Kerala like - Kapali Nambootiri, Pookatu soman panikkar, Talayolapparampu Parameswara menon etc in Devaprasna. It is a pleasure to be with such great guys and learn from them - and Devaprasnas in great temples provides the environment for interactive learning.
