Grahana - Eclipse

dear friends,

 

for some time now i have become interested in grahanas. i would like

to know more about it.

 

grahana in india is associated with rituals, fasts, dana, etc. what

do ancient texts say abt grahana? Astrologically it is rahu eating

up the sun/moon...sun and moon are aligned with the rahu-ketu axis

at least twice during the year...so is that the reason that we have

at leas 2 pairs, i.e., a minimum of four eclipses annually? but then

i am not very clear abt it.

 

i would like to know from members whether they " feel " the eclipse.

ever since i started watching the eclipse i think (this could be

pure imagination, though)that eclipses add a certain roughness to

the activities of the day. the last 2 eclipses i felt quite strongly

in terms of mental and physical activity. even if the eclipse does

not take place in india...the effects may be there and they may last

for months, i am told.

 

does this have something to do with the nakshatra and the house

where the eclipse takes place? there could be some sensitive areas

in our chart which may get activated, perhaps? further, a person who

is born on or near the day of eclipse may feel eclipses more?

It was interesting for me to find the influence of transit-

progressive saturn on his destiny.

I look through negative events, which are ruled by Satun - the God

of form and time.

He was born in Baku, Azerbaijan 22/02/1908.

Was repressed in 1938, 27th of apr. Up to 1939.

Saturn was transiting his mars in Aries - western - in this period.

Two progressions of sun through venus, and venus through mars -

helped, and after a year he was released.

 

În the 7 of Jan 1962 - autocrash. 3 months in coma.

In this year in Nov - Nobel prize.

 

Saturn was transiting his sun. And Progressive sun-saturn were

conjoined with his natal saturn in pisces.

 

Saturn gives a destruction but also gives award for longtime work -

Nobel prize.

 

On 1/04/1968, 21:50, Moscow - he passed.

 

Progressive Sun-sat - close conjunction in Aries (ruled be energy of

Mars - Head).

Transit saturn +sun - were conjoined in Aries through natal mars.

When saturn is close to sun in the horoscope, then its transits and

progressions will be much more valuable in their role on the living

state and awards.
