Since it will aspect the 8th house, will it make 8th house stronger ?. How should we take the results in sarp dreshkkhan. If anyone can clear this doubt it will be good learning for all members. (some texts also take 10-20 degrees in cancer and scorpio under sarp dreshkan)In this way (11)-12th, (21)-22nd and 36th dreshkans are called sarp dreshkans. The results are different for different sarp dreshkans. 4/8/12 signs are very sensitive signs and relate to our emotional make-up and psyche, spirituality, proneness to disease and accidents. Sarp dreshkans fall into these signs and hence affect these areas.It is said that if moon is in sarp dreshkan, a person is angry, cruel and aggressive. 22nd dreshkan from the ascendant denotes the nature of death. (check Saravali for rashi-wise details). A planet in 22nd dreshkan may cause troubles during its dasha and transit. A planet in 36th dreshkan may give spiritual inclinations, especially during its periods. A spiritual planet like ketu in sarp dreshkan, may give high level of spirituality to self if it so represents. For results of 8L in sarp dreshkan, pls check the following: -- In which dreshkan does it fall (12th, 22nd or 36th)? -- What is the rashi in 8H and in 2H where it has gone? Check for the behaviour of the 8L in the chart. 8L is said to spoil the significations of the house it occupies/aspects (except own house). Normally an 8L in 2nd house will make a person poor and lose his wealth. But if this 8L is strong, benefic and well aspected, it can give money through 8H, like inheritance, insurance, or teaching subjects like history or archaeology. A benefic 8L in 36th dreshkan in 2H aspecting own house may promote one to give spiritual discourses, or may give earning by giving lessons in spiritual/occult sciences.
