Our group was Founded on : Apr 3, 2006 and today is : Feb 13, 2008; a total of 22 months gone. We became a group of 2000 membres in 22 months. This means approx. 90+ new joinings every month at an average. Also note that we are experiencing 1 out 10 members unsubscribing from the group - that means when 100 members join, 10 members and 90 opts to stay and enjoy the group. But the active member count of the group would be only 1 persent of the group members - i.e. approx 20 out of 2000 at all times! May be that is the same with all other groups as well. Anyway let us enjoy the company of all these 2000+ members knowing the fact that more than 40% of the group members prefer "Individual Emails" and watch the every day activity and more than 25% prefering "Daily digest" Seems to be good statistics pointing to the group health. And yes, all the credit goes to the team at the helm… Sreenadhji, Srinivas ji, Sunil ji et al. Any one with an interest in astrology and taking part in group activities for a while is sure to get hooked on to it. Ask me…. It is amazing how Sreenadh ji painstakingly explains almost every thing in astrology. The depth of his ocean of knowledge is unfathomable. Its only god's grace that we've been able to connect and dip in this ocean of divinity. God bless him… All others, Sreenivas ji, Sunil ji, Renu ji, Vinita ji, Tatsam-avi ji, Pandit ji, Kishore ji, Chandrahari ji, and many others are such wonderful and learned souls that it is a privilege to be sharing thoughts with them. And Sreenivas ji's whacky sense of humour is to die for. His 'humorous interventions' as Sunil ji puts it, besides serving the purpose it is intended to, gives us our daily dose of 'witamin'. His humour, punctuated with wit and sarcasm, (of course, we don't mind Sreenivas ji) is sometimes such an OHT that it takes days to uncode the message…. But its all worth it…all of you out there… try to find hidden messages in his messages!!! …. And apply…. Keep it going Sreenivas ji… though I would appreciate very much if you can share with us, which are the planets at your wits end….coming to pure astrology. It is the waves of knowledge sharing happening between all of us is what keep things going. I am learning a lot from the group, and the unique info shared by many members such as Sunil ji, Neelam ji, and the vast astro database of Renu ji, the borders breaching astronishing thoughts of Vinita ji, the surge of indepth insight from Chandra hari ji, the humor and well grounded common sence of Srinivas ji, the googling and neo presentation of Krishna ji, the learning and presentation efforts of Kiran ji, the relaxed puranic perspective of Arjun ji - if we go on thanking can we complete the list? This is trully a group where true learning is taking place for all of us.. My only request is lets also have more participation from the silent majority too.. give us your thoughts and experiences too,, because every individual brings with him/her their own flavours, skills and perspective.. Do not be afraid of being wrong,, it is worse being wrong and not know it, the guidance you get gives you the opportunity to rewiew and assess what you know,and move further along your path and develop your confidence... and such golden opportunities are seldom found.. We do indeed have a wonderful selfless team, with a wealth of knowledge, directing us with kindness and commitment.. Nothing teaches you more than personal interaction. Speaking from personal experience,, I have learnt quite a lot, cleared a lot of cobwebs in my brain. My learning has mostly been self motivated,, learning from many sources, but lacking in clarity which principles apply in which situations etc.. Now I have greater confidence in analysing.. and it is all thanks to the leading team and each and every individual who takes the trouble to interact here.. May this group blossom always and may its frangrance linger in all our hearts.. We hav lot of astro gurus tho they r silently participating and blessing with their grace .Their name includes from goel ji to pt arjunji and astrologers like madhu nair . It is great considering the fact that there are no 'reading seekers' present here! Most of the people of genuinely interested in improving their knowledge of Astrology. As the names have been already taken, I will spare you from repetition :-)I know that some of my thoughts were not in-line with the 'ancient-astrology' goal of the group. Yet, you were accommodative and I thank you all for the same.My PC is down for the past few days (retro Merc?). It might take a couple of more days to fix. Till then I will be in the background.
