Dear Sreenadh ji,

Namaste,

It is a polite request that before we proceed to fresh topics,, can

we have a good 'wrap-up' of Venus, Jupiter and Rahu in lagna

discussions looking at what classics say and what was the experiences

shared by members,,

For Rahu,, I would have loved to have members EXPERIENCES with

regards to

Rahu's materialistic AND/OR spiritual tendancies.. Srila prahupada

and Ramakrishna Pramahansa have rahu as atmakarkas etc..

Rahu and its ability to cloud the mind and issues/ or give clarity of

mind in what seems confusing issues.( to see through the smokescreen)

Rahu and its link to be a cheat or being cheated..

Rahu and manupulative behaviour

Does rahu make you an introvert or extrovert?

Rahu and its link to sudden unexpected changes..

Rahu is also linked to foreigners, rebels, outcaste etc,, why? it is

as if,, whatever unknown quantity that cant be attributed to other

planets is dumped on rahu.. like people know of foreigners, yet may

have no experiences of foreigners.. so it becomes an uncertain

quantity, hence Rahu is responsible for it..

Rahu is perceived negatively generaly and yet Rahu is known to give

the right mindset and energy for large material and/or spiritual gains

warmest regards

Sheevani

Dear Srinivas ji, I have another answer to Sheevani ji's question - that is - "Our syllabus is still at '2HL in 3rd House; Moon in Various houses (yet to start) & 2 planet combinations (currently Sun-Mars)" all the other things being 'jump-ahead' and 'diversions' - caused by our own curiosity. Therefore I would held myself back from providing 'detailed write-ups' whenever such discussions happen; if some body provides that me too will enjoy. :) And may be the same is the attitude of may other members as well - and so some of our 'jump-ahead' discussion are 'bound to' disperse/dissolve without reaching solid concluding write-ups. :) And as a group, we would have to bear with it, and move on. :)Some one walks - we cannot decide his steps; if we does then no more he is in his own, and no more we can 'follow' his steps. :) Here every good active member is walking in their own steps - and to be proper what we should do is - let them walk their own and follow the foot steps - systematically; so that we too may learn to walk. :) May be the above analogy is not proper - but I hope that it helps. :) For example, think that Sunil ji is presenting a subject. That essentially means that he went through it thoroughly and is ready to answer the related questions. Now if instead of looking into the nook and corner of the idea he presented and following his footsteps – if we are introducing new parameters and diverting the discussion and then if Sunil ji fails to answer or even get disinterested in the whole activity – can we blame him? Which is more beneficial following the teacher who is trying to follow the syllabus or asking the teacher to answer the out of context or `ahead of portion' questions of students. :=) Currently in our class room many teachers are there – Sunil ji, Srinivas ji, Arjun ji, Neelam ji, Our Data bank and gold medallist Renu ji and so on. I am the teacher with the syllabus 7-fold in hand; and when the people confuse me with `jump-ahead portions', I keep Mum... Plus at times just to keep curiosity and interest we may introduce –

- New threads with `jump ahead portions' (in which case it won't be discussed completly)

- We may intentionally cause controversies (with a purpose)

- We may introduce `sweet capsules' which are NOT part of the syllabus but enhances the knowledge and keeps the interest and curiosity

- Take the `word stick' and beet the non-disciplined members who cause frustration to the people who are trying to be within syllabus and have good, listening, inquisitive, and knowledgeable classroom environment

- Side by side actual research is going on (by the teachers of the moment and by the students of the moment) – and the same may get presented by them. [Note that teachers may becomes students and students teachers in a moment based on their understanding – everything in flux and change only is the real truth ;) ]And so on. The name for all this game play is "Ancient Indian Astrology "!!! :=) Hope this helps, and thus goes Ve-Ju-Ra in Lagna – and ask the question aloud – "Who is responsible?" Who is the teacher around?! Is it `ahead of syllabus' portion? Then who and why introduced it? Is it write to do so? If you did why don't you clarify all our doubts and `wrap-up' the subject? and so on.... ;) Hope this helps. By the way I think Sunil ji is the culprit – he is acting teacher for many days (and writes very long and good mails) ;) – why don't we ask him to wind it up convincingly? Or is it Srinivas ji with his [{humor} –with in bracket; I wonder why he is forced to mention that it is `humor' always! :=) ] I am in support of catching him as well. Or may we can crucify Pandit ji or Neelam ji. If we get none let us "Buddhify" Renu ji – any way please spare me – I am not here. ;)Love and regards,Sreenadh , "sreeram srinivas" <sreeram64 wrote:>> > Namaste Sheevani 147 madamji,> > Let the group move ahead, with new topics....would compile and post them> later on ....on the Jupiter & Venus, though not many posts on that> subject or experiences....save for those of Ms. Neelam Gupta Madam.... & > Renuji....> > regards,> > Sreeram_Srinivas> > > , "sheevani147"> sheevani147@ wrote:> >> > Dear Sreenadh ji,> > Namaste,> >> > It is a polite request that before we proceed to fresh topics,, can> > we have a good 'wrap-up' of Venus, Jupiter and Rahu in lagna> > discussions looking at what classics say and what was the experiences> > shared by members,,> >> > For Rahu,, I would have loved to have members EXPERIENCES with> > regards to> >> > Rahu's materialistic AND/OR spiritual tendancies.. Dear Sreenadh ji,That was a smart one. Please spare me. I am a learner only and would like to remain in that slot. (it is interesting to see that my ju-ju-ju dasha has made me a teacher!!!) Each post provided by you, sreenivas ji, sunil ji, renu ji and other learned members is a step ahead in learning.

Going off the tangent is a regular feature even in classroom discussions. This is what learning is all about and shows that grey cells are alive and kicking. Otherwise one can go and read a textbook. I don't think sheevaniji needs to worry. With you behind the wheel. I am sure you'll put things in the right perspective when the time is right.
