Guest guest
Dear Members, Jupiter in 6H has been praised by the sages for its makes or takes the native to higher levels of living in his next birth. Guest guest
Dear Sreeram ji, No doubt Jupiter in 6H " makes or takes the native to higher levels of living in his next birth " . ....I know a few with this particular placement of Jupiter and they are simply good people. So no wonder that a place is already booked for them in a higher level.. [balcony].. in his/her next birth. I will give you a chart of a female with Jupiter in 6H. She is all that good but one misfortune in her life....her husband died in her Ju/Ra Vimsottari period. January 26, 1953 @ 3.08 AM in Colombo, SL. Jupiter as 5HL has given her two daughters with very good qualities. She looks after her 95 year old father all by herself though she has 9 siblings well off than her. blessings Renu , " sreeram srinivas " <sreeram64 wrote: > > > Dear Members, > > Jupiter in 6H has been praised by the sages for its makes or takes the > native to higher levels of living in his next birth. Guest guest
Dear Subrahmanyam ji, I did not mean that Jupiter in 6H aspecting 12H would bring untimely death to the partner. I gave that horoscope to confirm what Sreeram ji has written about Jupiter in 6H. But unfortunately in that particular case the native became a widow. Many other factors would have contributed to the death of her husband. I have not analyzed it with respect to that angle. In your case too it may be due to various other reasons. Hope the learned members would give you an explanation to the tragic event in your wife's life. blessings Renu , kuchibhotla subrahmanyam <k_subrahmanyam60100 wrote: > > dear sreeramji, > what renuji has given about guru i 6H is correct in > my case also.he has shown a GURU in the jupiter dasa > and my wife met with accident on 6 th may 1996.she > expired on 21 st june 2005.my birth details 31 st jan > 1948,4-30 pm,guntur > regards, > subrahmanyam > --- renunw <renunw wrote: > > > > > Dear Sreeram ji, > > > > No doubt Jupiter in 6H " makes or takes the native to > > higher levels > > of living in his next birth " . ....I know a few with > > this particular > > placement of Jupiter and they are simply good > > people. Guest guest
Dear Sreenadh-ji, Not "may be" - I was wrong. I wrote it as a reply only, based on Neelam-ji's description of events. As no dates were mentioned in that case, I guessed that the happenings might have happened in Jup-Rahu. I did not check the Jup -Mars period. I did not notice the three points and their significance. So I messed it up. BTW, regarding Agni-Marut yoga (Mars-saturn) in 1/7 axis, does it matter when one of the planets (Mars or Saturn) is lagna lord ? I mean whether the result of "Lagna lord aspecting his own house" in anyway would change the equation ? I am yet to check the chart, but from the descriptions given by Neelam ji, I can feel it. Note that - * Mars in 7th indicates divorce. * 5th lord going to 7th indicate divorce. * Agni Maruta yoga in 7th Is it not that - Mars is the better culprit? I am yet to check the chart, anyway you too please re-check it. Even if as per given BT it falls in Ju-Ra (need to check this), it is clear that Ju-Ma is what operated; in which case BT must be wrong; but if it is Ju-Ma then given BT is correct. As it appears, the last phase of Dasha (Jup-Rahu) of approx 28 months was devastating. Rahu's dispositor mercury, lord of 7H & 10H is debilitated. Jup, Lagna lord & 4H in 12H - so the results are related to these areas. I remember that strong planets in dusthana gives bad results whereas weak planets in dusthana gives better results, at least materially. I don't know whether this is supported by Classics. The results indicated by 'Agni-Maruta yoga' and the results indicated by 'Lagna lord aspecting his own house' would be different and therefore should be treated seperatly. Guest guest
Dear Sreenadh-ji, Thanks for the info. BTW, another question please, Jupiter in 12H - will give many things but at the end, will make a pauper. In this case, it took the Mars antara to do that. My question is .. What if the Mars or Rahu were well placed ? Then how this materially negative effect of Jup in 12H would manifest ? Or will it be like Jup will bring out the only negative possible attributes of these antaras ? Guest guest
Dear Chakraborty ji, There is a quote that reads - "Pumsam sarpedyayor sandhi, Strinam kamyoshna tejasa Ubhayo kuja rahvoscha Sandhi dosha itis stridha" Meaning, for men Ra-Ja dasa sandhi, for women Ve-Su dasa sandhi and for both Mars-Ra dasa sandhi would be bad. Of course at the end of Rahu dasa it is Mars antara; but unlike you pointed out at the end of Jupiter dasa is NOT Mars antara but Rahu antara. But if you are pointing to the fact that at the end of Jupiter dasa both the antaras are of malefics (Mars and Rahu) and the same is causing the trouble, then I agree - you are right. The question is - What if they (the antara lords) are well placed? As can be expected naturally the antara would give average results (not much auspecious not much inauspicious - because the dasa lord is wrongly placed while the antara lord is well placed) - and ofcoure the answer to the question - what would be exactly the results? depends on the position (sign/house/conjunction etc) of the dasa and antara lords. Note: Any way the question remains - what are the results that should be attributed to "Jupiter in 12th house?". I invite all the group members to discuss the same in detail. ;)Love and regards,Sreenadh , "Chakraborty, PL" <CHAKRABORTYP2 wrote: RE: Re: Jupiter in 12th house Dear Sreenadh-ji, Thanks for the info. Guest guest
Dear Sreenadh-ji, Many many thanks. Yes, I know, in Jup dasha, what are the antara-s. I mentioned Mars here as related to the case. I got the message. Unfavorable dasha lord (Jup in 12H here) will not give good results even with well placed antara lords, especially near the end of of its' dasha as it has to fulfill its' agenda (to make the native pauper at the end). May be with well placed antara lords, the results will be smoother, and not so shocking (like somebody making a sacrifice). And thank you again for the quote about unfavorable dasha sandhi conditions for men and women. It is a new learning for me. Guest guest
Dear Chakraborty ji, Why not we look at the detailed results for Jupiter in 12th? That could be a useful and informative discussion. I request Neelam ji to quote the results for Jupiter in 12th from authentic works so that a discussion on the same could begin. Sunil ji , Arjun ji and Srinivas ji might also be having some unique info to share regarding the same. Till now we have looked at 3 points only - 1) Ju in 12th may cause a divorce 2) Ju in 12th increases ones interest in spirituality 3) Ju in 12th may cause financial troubles especially at the end of the dasa. Now let us proceed with discussing other results told in astro classics for this unique placement. Guest guest
dear sreenadhji this is the right approach to discuss the subject rather than striving to support a premindset without flexibility. from what i read in various samhitas, nadis and other astro classics, besides what you mentioned, jupiter in 12th CAN cause the following: 1. if jupiter is placed in 12th house in any of the 12 lagna charts, the native spends money beyond his income. 2. if no malefics with him in 12th house, enhances sayya sukham. i have birth details of few individuals with jupiter in 12th who have had perhaps the best sayya sukham in the world for decades in their lives. 3. if malefics are with jupiter in 12th house, the native may find less sayya sukham. 4. the native with jupiter in 12th house will not have be rich materially. 5. if jupiter is with benefics or without malefics in 12th house, the natives goes to heaven. 6. if jupiter is with malefics in 12th house, the native goes to hell. 7. jupiter in 12th without malefics becomes highly learnt and beneficial to the world. 8. jupiter in 12th with malefics becomes half learnt and egoistic. dhruva nadi mentions jupiter in 12th house helping the native save money but since i did not find this true even in one percent of the charts with jupiter in 12th, i have not mentioned this trait. members are welcome to discuss the subject in an interactive way with open mind instead of coming with a premindset and striving the best with supporting theories. with best wishes and blessings pandit arjun , " Sreenadh " <sreesog wrote: > > Dear Chakraborty ji, > Why not we look at the detailed results for Jupiter in 12th? Guest guest
Dear Arjun ji, That is quite a long list :-) To verify, I was looking for some horoscopes with Jup in the 12th. I located one so far. It is that of British Prime Minister Gordon Brown. Astrodatabank puts a 'AA' rating on the birth details as the birth details they quote is based on the Birth Certificate of the native. The birth details are as follows: Birth Name: Brown, Gordon Birth 2/20/1951 (February 20, 1951) Birth Time: 8:40 am GMT (+0:00) Birth Place: Giffnock, Scotland, UK Latitude / Longitude: 55 N 48 / 04 W 17 Rodden Rating / Source: AA / Quoted BC/BR Source Notes: Pulsar Collection quotes B.C. In this case Jupiter is in the 12th with a big galaxy og malefics - Rahu, Mars and Sun. His biography can be found at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gordon_Brown I have not yet tried to verify his chart with respect to his biography. I have just collected the information. I thought I can give this info. to the entire list so that those interested can also quickly jump in and make contributions. So, please go ahead... after you... Guest guest
Dear Sreenadh ji,As you suggested, I have tried to collate the texts from classics about Jupiter in 12H.I have also tried to put together my own thoughts on this placement.Hope it'll be useful for all concerned and if we can add some examples to make it a complete study. Since I have composed the matter in a word file, I am attaching the same here. Thanks and regardsNeelamOn 05/02/2008, Sreenadh <sreesog wrote: Dear Chakraborty ji, Why not we look at the detailed results for Jupiter in 12th? Guest guest
Dear All, I am pasting below the file prepared by Neelam Gupta ji. ====================================== Jupiter in Twelfth House This is what some of the classics say: Bhrigu Sutras: The native will be poor, he will be interested in studies, will have few children, will be proficient in mathematics but will be of loose character. If Jupiter is associated with a benefic or is in his own sign or sign of exaltation, the native will go to heaven after his death. If Jupiter is associated with a malefic the native will go to hell after his death. He will spend money on religious causes and will have sexual contacts with Brahmin and pregnant women. Brihat Jatak: The native will be a villain. Phaldeepika: The native will be disliked by other people. The native will also be vulgar in his speech. He will be childless, will indulge in sinful deeds, will be lazy and one who serves others. Saravali: The native will be lazy, without good speech and unfortunate and will have a feeling of bitterness towards others, mostly in servitude. Chamatkar Chintamani: The native in spite of spending on good causes will not get any praise. He will be stupid and will incur loss of wealth. Jatak Bharnam: Person is full of anger, his feelings are confused and he is devoid of ntelligence. Stri Jatak: Little gains, bad nature, disease. Yavan Jatak: Loses his righteousness (dharma) and makes few movements Horasara: It makes a person defective of limb and he will spend money on charity and dances. All the texts are in agreement that Jupiter gives only inauspicious results if situated in the 12th house. Other Views: If Jupiter is not well placed in the 12th house, it brings out the negative qualities of Jupiter, of extravagance, of wasting money, bragging, bad eating and drinking habits. Person is idle and jealous. He is fond of traveling. If Jupiter is in own house or exalted in 12th, it is good for spirituality and attainment of highest form of bliss. Apart from the above dictums: (my own views) The bhav-bhavesh-karak parameter is the first thing to be considred. Jupiter in 12th would mean: 1. Bhav is not considered very auspicious regarding lagan affairs. 2. Karak Jupiter, for whatever it stands for, has gone to dustana or 12H which is not good across the board. 3. Bhavesh for 12H needs to be checked for individual charts. I am not expanding the above points for obvious reasons. Remember that 12th house is ‘vyay’ house only for the lagan. It represents the loss of whatever lagan stands for with respect to Jupiter. A careful judgement is needed regarding the results for houses and jupiter’s placement and significations. Results of other houses when Jupiter is in 12th from lagan, have to be modified accordingly. E.g 12th house is sukhsthan for father and bhagya sthan for mother. A benefic in this house will be good for mother’s fortune and father’s happiness. Similarly it can show the karm of 3rd house, it can be indicative of younger sibling’s profession. Such house-specific effects can be seen differently, but in relation with lagan or the person himself this scene of action may be distant or foreign. In general, following points should be kept in mind before arriving at any conclusion: 1. What is the ascendant sign and its lordship. This will tell us whether Jupiter is functional benefic or malefic and what is its panchadha relationshio with lagan lord. 2. Which are the houses having Jupiter’s lordship. A trinal/kendra lord in 12H can be inauspicious for the native. If Jupiter is lord of 6/8/12, in 12H it can give vipreet rajyoga also. Jupiter and mercury are the only planets which can own both kendras simultaneously. Such a Jupiter in 12th! Are we looking at kendras being blown away. (These two planets also get maximum 60 points in planetary bal in jaimini and dual rashis are supposed to be the strongest) 3. In which rashi Jupiter is placed (exaltation/mooltrikon/own/friends/neutral/ inimical/debilitated)? Jupiter in its own mooltrikona sign without any affliction has given high level of spirituality to Swami Moorkhanand (Dips into divinity by KNR). 4. What are the influences on jupiter in 12H. Are there any planets conjunct with it or aspecting it or is there any exchange. E.g a person with Jupiter conjunct sun in 12H under benefic influence will build ashrams or temples abroad. A close conjunction of Jupiter with mars in 12H can lead to ‘matibhram’, or going overboard with spirituality like a person caught into the web of babas and sadhus. 5. Who is the dispositor and how is it placed. 6. What kind of yogas are being formed with this Jupiter. 7. As we know that lagan is only the physical aspect of a person. We must assess all the above from moon (disposition of mind) and sun (important for spirituality) also. 8. Now we can move into finer analysis by going into navamsh and other vargas. E.g a vargottam Jupiter will give good results in 12H. 9. Checking out the nakshatra of Jupiter and its lord and the relation between them, will give further clue to the behaviour and results of the planet. 10. Those of you who are well versed with Jaimini or ashtakvarga systems, can also try to see if the above results are also indicated by these sytems. This was static analysis. Now to make it dynamic or to see what will happen at a particular point of time, see that dasha and transit pattern. ======================================Love and regards,Sreenadh , "neelam gupta" <neelamgupta07 wrote:>> Dear Sreenadh ji,> As you suggested, I have tried to collate the texts from classics about> Jupiter in 12H.> I have also tried to put together my own thoughts on this placement.> Hope it'll be useful for all concerned and if we can add some examples to> make it a complete study.> Since I have composed the matter in a word file, I am attaching the same> here.> Thanks and regards> Neelam> > > > On 05/02/2008, Sreenadh sreesog wrote:> >> > Dear Chakraborty ji,> > Why not we look at the detailed results for Jupiter in 12th? Guest guest
Shree Ganeshaya Namah, The posting by Neelam ji is very well compiled and explained. I have been reading the discussions and suddenly remembered that one of my close freind has a 12th house Jupiter with capricorn Lagna (DOB:20-12- 1972;TOB:3.50AM; POB: Machilipatnam AP, India). The native's father is a very volatile person (at home only) and his mother suffered heavily at his hands including the native (destruction of father's sukhasthana-but by himself). Further the native lost his elder brother 1993 dec in US (3rd lord in 12th -maybe that caused the loss- Rahu dasa Ju antar dasa). The native is well settled in US since past 7-8 years but soon will commence the Jupiter dasa. I suppose he it will make him more spiritual but may also affect his job. Would like to hear on what such Jupiter has in store for the above native from the erudite scholars in this forum. warm regards Hanmant , " Sreenadh " <sreesog wrote: > > > Dear All, > I am pasting below the file prepared by Neelam Gupta ji. > ====================================== > > Jupiter in Twelfth House > > This is what some of the classics say: > > Bhrigu Sutras: > > The native will be poor, he will be interested in studies, will have few > children, will be proficient in mathematics but will be of loose > character. Apart from the above dictums: (my own views) The bhav-bhavesh- karak parameter is the first thing to be considred. In which rashi Jupiter is placed (exaltation/ mooltrikon/ own/friends/ neutral/ inimical/debilitate d)? ============ ========= ========= ========Love and regards,Sreenadhancient_indian_ astrology, "neelam gupta" <neelamgupta07@ ...> wrote:>> Dear Sreenadh ji,> As you suggested, I have tried to collate the texts from classics about> Jupiter in 12H.> I have also tried to put together my own thoughts on this placement.> Hope it'll be useful for all concerned and if we can add some examples to> make it a complete study.> Since I have composed the matter in a word file, I am attaching the same> here.> Thanks and regards> Neelam> > > > On 05/02/2008, Sreenadh sreesog wrote:> >> > Dear Chakraborty ji,> > Why not we look at the detailed results for Jupiter in 12th? Guest guest
Dear Chandramouliswer ji, Please ask some one born in Tula Lagna who actually EXPERIENCED the Jupiter Dasa - that only makes things valid. Note that, if Libra is Lagna, Jupiter Dasa running at birth time (e.g. People born in Punarvasu, Visakha, Purva Bhadrapada), and if there is a malefic in 11 or 12th from Aries (i.e. considering Natural horoscope) then most possibly the native would be handicapped - a result enhanced by lordship of Jupiter for 3rd and 6th houses!! And you say that Jupiter will not give any bad results for Libra lagna!!! Is it out of experience or just a wage statement?!!! Jupiter in 12th, if afflicted, may enhance the above results. But for Libra lagna it may not do so, if not afflicted, since for Libra lagna Ju in 12th aspects its own house at 6th, i.e. Pisces. Please go through other charts and only then conclude - otherwise we too will be destroying astrology - like too many people did in the past. Hope this helps.==>I have not experienced any bad results sofar.Since my star isAnuradh I have not yet experienced Jupitor Dasa. Even in dasa/anthardasa also I have not <== Good â€" but I have a question. What about Saturn dasa- Jupiter Antara (1952-54) in your child hood? And what about Ve/Ju (1989-91)? Loss of luck, hardships and troubles during these periods or simply lucky then too? Please confirm. Note: You are simply lucky that you won't experience Jupiter dasa - being a person born in Anuradha. Apart from the above dictums: (my own views) The bhav-bhavesh- karak parameter is the first thing to be considred. In which rashi Jupiter is placed (exaltation/ mooltrikon/ own/friends/ neutral/ inimical/debilitate d)? ============ ========= ========= ========Love and regards,Sreenadh
Guest guest
Dear Chandramouliswer ji, I just wanted to query about one more point - * 3rd lord going to 12th from Lagna; Ke aspected by Saturn in 3rd; Mars in 3rd even though exalted is afflicted and its Navamsa going to 6th from Lagna in Pisces; Gk in 11th from Jupiter - what is it all point to? Death of a brother or disease? And the whole thing seems to have some connection wth Jupiter (since Ju is 3rd lord; Mars Navamsa is in Pisces; Gk is in 11th from Ju; 11th lord Sun is aspcted by Ju and so on) - so what is that special thing happened possibly in 1952-54 or 1989-91? Or is it that I got it all wrong? Just simple curiosity. Based on your response we will decide whether to go into the details of results - the Jupiter in 12th in your horoscope point to. Tula laganCase 2: Male: 16.7.1954/6.30 hrs/Rohtak, Haryana...cancer laganOne has become a doctor treating patients and another has become a patient going to doctors. The contrast is quite clear once we see the planetary positions in both the charts and role of 12th house Jupiter is also very clear. 12th house is also hospitals and hospitalisation. 6/12 axis is both diseases and doctors. The examples are here for all of you to judge.Regards neelamCase 1: On 07/02/2008, Sreenadh <sreesog wrote: Dear Chandramouliswer ji, I just wanted to query about one more point - * 3rd lord going to 12th from Lagna; Ke aspected by Saturn in 3rd; Mars in 3rd even though exalted is afflicted and its Navamsa going to 6th from Lagna in Pisces; Gk in 11th from Jupiter - what is it all point to?
